Hello, readers!

When it comes to the exfoliation of skin, nothing is more reliable than body scrubs. Because nothing feels as refreshing and fragrant as body scrubs. Plus, if those pretty exfoliators are full of color, they would become irresistible. This post is all about creating your own home-made body scrubs that are fresh, natural, exfoliating, moisturizing and colorful.

Take a bowl and pour the coconut milk in it. Whip it until you get a good consistency. Add orris/almond oil to the coconut milk and whip again until the oil mixes well and the mixture gets fragrant. In another bowl, add powdered strawberries and granulated sugar. Mix well. Empty both the bowls into a single one and mix well without crushing the contents. Tips and Recommendations:

  • The best way to use body scrubs (especially, those which are home-made) is when you’re having a shower because sometimes things could get a little messy.
  • For darkening the colors of the body scrubs, you can use respective and suitable food colors.
  • Do not use the body scrubs on the skin which is irritated, burned, cut, has a wound or is simply sensitive.
  • Though these body scrubs are completely natural (unless you add synthetic food colors to them), sometimes natural substances or remedies could harm too.
  • Just after you exfoliate your skin, rinse, pat dry and moisturize with a cruelty-free moisturizer.
  • If you run short of coconut milk, you are free to substitute it with coconut oil.
