Inglot Lip Paint #68

Inglot Lip Paint #68

Hi everybody,

My loyalty for Inglot, as you know, is growing day by day. These lip paints were lying in one corner of the store, very colourful and very attractive. I immediately hopped on to that corner and started trying different shades. I picked up two of them. This is the brighter one out of the two; the other one is a bit muted. Read on to find more.

My experience with Inglot Lip Paint #68:

It comes in a lip pot kind of packaging. These do not come with a lip brush along. You have to have your own. The first main attractive thing about these lip paints is that they are very cute and after trying them you just cannot resist them. The texture is very luscious, very silk like and super hydrating. It is not at all sticky. I love wearing such luscious textures since I have dry lips. It is neither like a gloss nor a balm, I would say like a creamy lipstick. Earlier I thought, lip paints would be very sheer and they would serve as lip balm only, but I was wrong.

The shade is cherry pink (ya I would call it a cherry pink instead of cherry red) which compliments my skin tone very much. The pigmentation is very impressive, it comes on the lips just as it is in the pot provided you apply it with a brush. If you want to tone down the color you can pat on two spots on your lips, spread that evenly and purse your lips nicely. This way the shade would appear a little lighter.

The staying power is pretty good with this particular shade. I applied it and went to some outing, stayed there for some 4-5 hours and it stayed all that time. Now since I ate so many pani puris in the meanwhile, so all the sheen and glossiness was gone but the color still remained. Actually I was not expecting this would stay after eating something, but it did. So it was impressive again.

It has a sweet smell which I like. It is somewhat similar to the kind you smell in most of the lip balms. Though I like these lip paints so much, I still envy colorbar’s mini brush that comes along with the pots now. 😛

On the other hand I am glad, these give nice pigmentation hydrate my lips, give them a color + gloss effect for 2 hours and color alone stays for 4-5 hours even after mini meals. I love these so much now I want more.
