How are you all doing? I know there is a lot of activity because of Navratri. My preparations have almost ended, from clothes, shoes to makeup and jewelry .. This is my third gloss from ‘MUA Out There’ range let’s see how this product fared for me.

Packaging: The gloss comes in a really long, transparent tube, with a long doe- foot applicator; the applicator is tapered, which helps in applying the color easily even on thinner lips. But the only issue with it is that the applicator picks up tiny amount of the gloss; you’ll need to dip the applicator for 2-3 times in the bottle. I really like the packaging of the glosses; they are very girly and attractive.

My Take on MUA Out There Plumping Lip Gloss- Pin Up Pink

Shade: The shade is a pretty berry toned pink, without any shimmers in it, the color is very close to fuchsia color, but on the brighter side. It’s a very girly pink and will suit every skin tone. The shade will instantly brighten up the face. Because it’s a gloss and goes semi-sheer, the shade is very wearable.

Texture & Finish: The gloss is very creamy & smooth in texture; it applies so creamy on the lips. The formula is very hydrating, it keeps lips soft & supple throughout. The consistency is very creamy thick but not sticky and feels very light weight on the lips. Some plumping lip products like these glosses, do sting a bit on lips on the very first time. The finish of the gloss is really pigmented & glossy, like a creamy liquid lip color, thus giving the effect of fuller, plump lips.

Pigmentation: “Pin up pink” is a really pigmented color, 1 swipe would give almost opaque glossy coverage on lips; extremely pigmented lips would need 3 layers. I was amazed by the fact that the gloss wouldn’t bleed a bit, if you layer it on, it’ll stay intact in place, without the help of any lip liner. The color pay off is also excellent, you can really control the amount of gloss needed, as the applicator will pick just a small amount of gloss to complete one lip at a time, you can opt for sheer wash of the color or layer it in 3 swipes for opaque coverage.

Staying Power: This gloss lasted really well on me, without eating anything it stays on my lips for 4 hrs; the color will fade after 2 hrs but will left a mild tint, all over the gloss stayed on me for 4 hrs. With snacking it’ll stay for 2 hrs.

• The stinging sensation may be uncomfortable the first time
• Availability in India.
• Won’t survive heavy meals.

Recommendation/ Re- purchase: Yes, I am so much in love with this color that I really can’t point out any of the reasonable cons, which will make you reject this wonderful gloss, and if you’re somebody who loves berry tones, shimmer-free, pigmented lip glosses,this one is really an apt one for you. I will really love to buy this shade again.
