Ha ha I remember lakme sunscrren with TPI – how much I begged my mom to buy me that! :P
Now I probably wouldn’t try anything lakme even if someone begged ME! :rotfl:

I have my eye on the sindoor though… is it still available? Have read a lot about it on IMBB :) )

I know what you mean. :P

Ki, once you get married you must get that Sindhoor. It doesn’t melt even in such hot summers.

I’m moving to France in Dec-Jan so won’t have hot summers anymore – yay :jump:
But it seems like a great buy. :D

I like the packaging of the mascara and eyeshadow!

Rati, the other day you wrote I look different, that’s true,
sometimes I do look very different. In the last two posts I
did not iron my hair and I did not wear any make up,
I think I look so ugly!! The last couple of days I’ve been
very busy with school so that’s why I don’t do make up
or hair ironing, it just costs me too much time! Plus I want
to cut back on the ironing since it’s so damaging. But I
really don’t like my hair natural. Don’t know what to do with it!

Reply

Rati April 20, 2010 at 3:35 pm

oh no!! you didn’t look ugly at all. :( Different means in a good way and not in a bad way. I follow the simple rules of oiling, shampooing and conditioning my hair. Also conditioning should be done only for the hair tips and not the roots. It would end up making your scalp oily otherwise. Sometimes I like to squeeze a lemon in a mug of water and give it a last rinse with it. I also love to put flat beer in my hair after a shampoo wash. I used beer as a conditioner. :)

Well thanks, that is sweet of you. I hate to tell you but I have a low self esteem.
My boyfriend is saying very sweet things to me and other people like you too
but I can’t seem to accept that I’m not that bad. I’ve started a blog to learn to
accept myself but it’s a long road I guess. But I’ll be alright!!

Shoot, last week I used a conditioner in my whole hair! I’ll do it right from now on.
Tonight I will oil my hair with Amla oil and sleep with it. I don’t know if I have a
lemon right now but I think my bf has a beer somewhere so I’ll sure try that out!

Speaking of it, I still need to read the awesome DIY hair cair tips you wrote
about a while ago. Will do that soon. Thanks Rati:)

Good luck, Sunanina. I hope it goes well for you this time. Amla oil is very good for hair but I get headache with its fragrance. That’s the reason I end up not using it. No you are nt spamming. :)

I guess everyone has soo much of history either directly or thru friends w Lakme that it would really take them a ‘out-of-the-world’ product to impress us!!

Reply

Rati April 20, 2010 at 9:12 pm

HD, I was thinking exactly the same thing todya. I don’t know what Lakme has to do to erase all the lousy memories that we have with their products.

I am also all for the packaging…..I would wanna give it a try just to have those lovely purple things with me…..I am can’t keep my hands off anything purple…………. :-) . But, I do not about sunscreen, I have used Lakme sunscreen before and they broke me out, I would not even touch that.

Rati April 20, 2010 at 7:58 pm

Purple is in the air. :P I am also loving a lot of things purple these days.

I think Lotus does a decent job with sunscreens. Lakme is the last company I would go to for skin care. :P

The pricing is really decent… Even the invisible foundation was 185, right??? That’s dirt cheap!!!

Reply

Rati April 21, 2010 at 3:29 pm

yes 185! :) This reminds me that a reader sent the pictures of the invisible foundation to me and I forgot to post it. :( Let me do that today.
