Original Source White Pear and Avocado Damage Limitation Shampoo-Review

Hello beautiful ladies,

Today I am going to review about my current favourite shampoo from the brand Original Source.

Product Description:

This enriching dry hair shampoo is a fresh, fruity experience, and utilises the unique powers of white pear and avocado to help strengthen your hair and increase its shine. Avocado is god’s gift to hair and skin, with moisturising properties that must be felt to be believed. And white pear gives a mineral rich boost that’s a welcome relief for hair battered daily by the sun, toxins and various stresses of modern life.

My Experience with Original Source -White Pear and Avocado Damage Limitation Shampoo :

I have thick dry unmanageable hair which is normal and wavy at the top but the hair at the sides near my nape of neck is kind of frizzy. So, when I saw this shampoo at the shop counter specially designed for normal/stressed hair, I immediately jumped in to buy.

This shampoo comes with a simple yet cute packaging in a transparent pyramid shaped bottle. A flip black lid is at the top to release the shampoo. The cap is sturdy and the opening mechanism is also cute. The shampoo is slightly thick in consistency with a sweet fruity smell. Since its thick you need to add a little water in order to wash your hair easily. The smell stays till the very next day giving me a completely clean and fresh feel. It made my hair manageable. Though I had some frizz and flyaway hairs; this shampoo did make my hair soft and touchable. But it can be tamed by using a good conditioner. Beauties with good conditioned hair can skip using conditioner. Generally other shampoos give me a dry, coarse feel to my hair after shower but this made my hair look healthy with less frizziness. Yet my hunt has not stopped for a better shampoo for my dry hair.

Will I Repurchase Original Source -White Pear and Avocado Damage Limitation Shampoo?

I totally recommend you this shampoo if you have hair like me, other than that even people with normal hair can use this and reap its benefits. But I guess this wouldn’t suit for people with oily hair.

  1. Okay I`m out of 2 bottles of bodyshop rainforest moisture , can anyone suggest any other sulfate free shampoo ? Like apart from loccitane – a bit easier on the budget 😛 The ones available here – so far i know of himalaya protein one – but it has a tendency to dry hair out so.. or else I`ll revert to bodyshop only. It`s really good.
