How it Works
When used regularly with the Split Remedy Conditioner, the salon-quality system continues to bind split ends for a smooth look that lasts. The system repairs up to 80 percent of split ends in just three uses and with continued use keeps working to fix damage and bind splits as they occur.*
How to use:
1. Coat wet hair with a liberal amount of shampoo.
2. Gently massage the scalp and roots with fingertips to work into a lather. Avoid roughing up to reduce tangling.
3. Lightly squeeze the shampoo from roots to ends and rinse thoroughly.
4. Finish with TRESemmé Split Remedy™ Conditioner and Split Remedy™ treatments and styling products.

My Experience with TRESemmé Split Remedy Shampoo
This shampoo is such a let down. When I saw this shampoo I got really excited since it claimed to reduce split end up to 80%. I won’t support this claim. I found no improvement in my hair and this product actually made it worse. My hair is very dry but not too damaged though I do suffer from split ends due to my hair lacking hydration. It also very fine and tends to be weighed down by heavy products.
The shampoo comes in huge bottle that will probably last you months and with a very affordable price tag. The shampoo lathers on the hair very well and the actually has a very pleasant scent. Also the scent lingers on the hair for the whole day. Only a little bit is need to product more than sufficient lather. Also the bottle is very sturdy and the push down cap is very secure and does allow very controlled removal of product.
After washing hair seems very heavy and stiff and felt like there is a lot of product buildup on hair. Hair just basically did not feel clean. I think this may due presence of Silicones in it. Silicones do make hair smoother initially but harm the hair in the long run. My hair seemed very dull and lost most of its shine and healthiness with a few use. I noticed no improvement in my split end but the rate at which my hair was developing split ends was reduced . It did not help untangle my hair my hair felt very clumpy after washing. It also did not help control frizz. Hair felt very dried out and brittle.
It also contains SLS as a second ingredient which I am not too thrilled about .Also I don’t wash my hair everyday and after using it for only 2-3 times per week and seeing the bad results. I would not recommend this to people who are thinking about using this shampoo on a daily basis.

• Weighted my hair down
• Made hair very difficult to style
• Made my hair very brittle and dry
• Did not control frizz
• Hair does not look healthy or shiny anymore 🙁

Very less shampoos that claim split ends n all seem to work out *headbang* rather i would get some hair masks *happy dance* *happy dance* this looked good to me and was expecting it to work good but sad one more dud *cry* *cry*
Tresseme shampoos dont work on my hair as well, too much product buildup. But their conditioners are good, especially if you are using a clarifying shampoo.
what a dud!! I feel that regular trimmings is something that helps keep split ends away. all these shampoos only look like gimmicks. Thanks for the heads up! 🙂
