I have very dry skin and I keep slathering my body lotion to prevent dry flakes on my body. I recently picked up a few body lotions from Balea, and today’s review is all about Balea Body Fit Skin Tightening Body Lotion. Read on to know more.

My Experience with Balea Body Fit Skin Tightening Body Lotion:

The body lotion comes in a curvy plastic bottle with a flip cap. The design is similar to all the lotions from Balea. The lotion has a shiny blue-green cover on the top. The flip cap is easier to use and makes the product spill-free. The product is bulky due to the 400 ml quantity and thus might not be a good choice as a travel companion.

The lotion is white in colour and has a rich and creamy texture. The smell is fresh and a bit mint-like, but it hardly stays for a few minutes. The body lotion is thick and thus it takes forever to get absorbed into the skin. This is a bummer when you are in a hurry. When the lotion is rubbed over the skin, it just sits there without any absorption.

I have to leave on the product for 2-3 minutes for the lotion to be absorbed. This process is hideous and I look like a white cast with not absorbed lotion all over me! Once the product is absorbed, it leaves a little greasy residue behind but this lasts hardly 15-20 minutes and fades away. The lotion makes the skin soft and smooth, and tones the skin, too.

The body lotion is not meant for dry skin as it provides average moisturization which lasts for 2-3 hours on my skin and I need a reapplication. The body lotion is fit for normal skin wherein it can provide moisturization for at least 5-6 hours. I bought the lotion for its benefit of skin tightening. I have been using the product for over a month now and I notice that my skin is smoother in the target areas but there is no firmness or tightening of the skin.

The skin is just the way it was except that it has turned smoother and I believe I could get the results with any good moisturising lotion. The product doesn’t cause any irritation or any redness and is also suitable for sensitive skin. The lotion also contains sulphates. Overall, it is cheap but you can give this product a miss as there are way better lotions out there.
