My Experience with Balea Hand Cream Cherry Blossom:
The packaging reminds me of my childhood days when Borosil was used like a magic cream. This hand cream comes in a tube packaging with a screw cap. I normally would not prefer a screw cap since it’s not convenient to close the cap while balancing the hand cream on hand. But, here is an exception. The cap is so cute and looks pretty when handling it. I do not mind this screw cap at all. The shape of the cap is also multi-cornered, so that it provides easy grip. The tube itself and the cap are plastic. When you first look at it, it feels like metal, but once you touch it, you will realize that it’s not metal anymore. The problem with metal was the sharp edge; they could hurt. The packaging is very similar to Crabtree and Evelyn hand creams. I have seen that many of the brands are moving to this kind of packaging.
The plastic tube is easy to squeeze and the quality of plastic is also good. It does not feel like a drugstore hand cream packaging at all. The opening is pretty big for discharging the product. One needs to squeeze softly to control the amount of product.
The color of the tube is metallic silver with beautiful cherry blossom picture on it. I find the packaging very cute. The colour of the cream is white and is quite thick in consistency.
The hand cream feels or creates a slightly cooling sensation when used. Normally, Balea products feel slightly greasy and I was expecting the same from this. But, this turned out to be non-greasy. Of course, if used in larger quantities, it will feel greasy but little goes a long way.
The hand cream gets instantly absorbed. The fragrance is mild and pleasant. It smells like cherry blossom. The palm felt well moisturised for 2 hours or so and then started feeling dry. The cream had to be reapplied. Since it’s so small (packaging), it fits into a clutch too. I love travelling around with it. It’s perfect to keep in a handbag too.
Overall it’s a good hand cream, which performs well for its price.
Pros of Balea Hand Cream Cherry Blossom:
- Mild fragrance.
- Creamy texture.
- Quite moisturizing.
- Perfect packaging.
- Lovely cherry blossom fragrance.
Cons of Balea Hand Cream Cherry Blossom:
- Needs reapplication after 2 hours.
IMBB Rating: 3.5/5
Will I Buy Balea Hand cream Cherry Blossom?
I lover trying different hand creams and this is not the best I have used till date. So, I don’t think I will go for it.
Do I Recommend Balea Hand cream Cherry Blossom?
Definitely. It’s an inexpensive but still effective hand cream. The results are not instant and as effective as Crabtree and Evelyn, but it’s not bad either.
