My Take on Bath and Body Works Sexy Dahlia Rush Body Lotion:
Why I love this body lotion? Because it smells and looks like frozen blueberry yogurt and I absolutely love frozen yogurts. Don’t be fooled by its dull and make-shift appearance because it’s a total treat in a boring wrapping. However, the color of the bottle is in sync with that of the lotion so I give it thumbs up.
Appearance: like I said it looks like frozen yogurt so that might give a faint idea of what to expect when one buys it. It is soft lavender lilac in color and has a runny consistency.
Smell and fragrance: although the product claims to posses several tones of fragrance but I found exotic wild berry fragrance as overwhelming but not unpleasant. Obviously, 24 hour stay is an exaggeration but it still stays intact for several hours.
Consistency and texture: like I said it is runny in consistency and non greasy in texture. It is not thick or gooey like body butters and is super easy to blend. It is easily absorbed by the skin and is perfect for medium to oily skin tine beauties but skin type apart; I guess it is appropriate for both winters and summers.
Hydration: it is very easy to blend and hence provides instant hydration and though it’s runny in consistency, a little dollop is rich in moisture and goes a long way. It doesn’t leave sheen behind but neither does it vanish into oblivion without a trace of moisture. I can feel it’s presence with its amazing moisture and fragrance.
This signature collection also offers body mist, shower gel and body butter in the same genre of fragrance and I guess one can buy the entire set to further layer the fragrance and enjoy long lasting aroma.
Pros of Bath and Body Works Sexy Dahlia Rush Body Lotion:
- Looks like frozen blueberry yogurt!!!!
- Good runny consistency.
- Smells of wild exotic berries.
- Gets easily absorbed.
- Non greasy and sticky.
- Gives instant hydration.
- Reasonably priced and discounts are available.
Cons of Bath and Body Works Sexy Dahlia Rush Body Lotion:
- 24 hours claim is an exaggeration.
- Bottle is a little dull and boring.
Would I repurchase Bath and Body Works Sexy Dahlia Rush Body Lotion?
Yes, in fact I am thinking of buying all the products in this genre because this smell is so divine and unique. Anyone who visits B&BW store next should try to grab these delicacies.
