Bath and Body Works Winter Candy Apple Body Cream Review

I have another Bath and Body Works product for you all. 😉 This is the last body cream from my “mini” Bath and Body Works store!! Yeah, my hubby says that and he is not wrong. 😛 The amount of products I hauled this time, I do have a mini store at my home. 😉 Last year, I used Winter Candy Apple Nourishing Hand Cream and I loved it to the core, so picking a body cream from the same range was a no-brainer. Read on to know whether the body cream is as good as the hand cream.

My Experience with Bath and Body Works Winter Candy Apple Body Cream:

The packaging is really tempting. As I told you all, I picked this up before thinking twice. Apart from the fact that I love the scent, I was literally bowled over by the beautiful packaging. Bath and Body Works Winter Candy Apple 24-hour Moisture Ultra Shea Body Cream comes in a red and white tube which has a flip top cap. The cap closes with a click. The tube has graphics of snow-clad Christmas trees which makes it look like a good holiday gift.

The cream is white in color and has a very thick texture; however, it spreads easily and evenly, and is easy to apply. I generally apply it just after the shower, on my damp skin, and it gets absorbed easily. It leaves my skin soft and smooth and not greasy. Coming to the 24-hour claim, it would stand true for those who have normal skin. However, since I have super dry skin, I usually re-apply moisturizer while going to the bed. This cream does hold good for around 12 hours or so for me, only my super dry feet need a re-application in around 6-7 hours, which is quite okay since that is the case with most of the lotions or creams.

I have already bragged about my love for the scent, but still, it has a sweet and citrusy fragrance, more citrusy than sweet, but after a couple of minutes, it does smells of sweet apples. The apple notes are sweet and true to the name “candy” apple!! I could not smell any rose in there though.

Dry notes are warm and musky but not very overpowering. The staying power of this fragrance is good and it stays on me for around 4-5 hours which can be increased by using other products from the range in conjunction.

• I need to reapply on my super dry feet after 6-7 hours.
• Not available in travel size.

Would I Repurchase Bath and Body Works Winter Candy Apple Body Cream?
This scent is one of my personal favorites from the brand and I would keep repurchasing it for sure. I would recommend it from whole heart. Everyone who loves fruity scents would love this one too. 🙂
