Bath and Body Works recently introduced body oil in their “Energy” collection. You can get body oil with shimmer to highlight your body or you can get body oil to massage and soothe your senses. I am a huge fan of their “Aromatherapy” range. So, I went ahead and purchased the “orange and ginger body oil” from their “Energy” collection. So, let’s see how this product fared for me.

My Experience with Bath and Body Works Energy Orange and Ginger Nourishing Body Oil:
Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy range comes in various versions- Sleep, Energy, Comfort, Focus and Happiness. The Orange and ginger body oil comes under the Energy version.
Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Orange and Ginger body oil comes in a brown frosted glass bottle with a black roll on cap. The bottle comes with a stopper with a hole in the middle. I don’t like this stopper as it dispenses more than required amount of oil. The cap is very secure and hence there is no chance of product leakage. The back of the bottle contains the ingredient list. Overall, I don’t like the packaging of this body oil. It is really heavy and since the bottle is made out of glass, it’s not very travel friendly.
The body oil has a nice fragrance of orange and ginger. You can really smell the citrus fragrance and the spicy ginger note while applying the oil. I really do love the scent of this body oil. This body oil really energizes my senses.
The winter has been really long in US and it has caused a lot of dryness to my skin. So, I purchased this body oil to use in combination with my body lotion for the extra moisture. The body oil is great for massaging. The body oil gets easily absorbed into the skin. This body oil makes my skin smooth and hydrated. The oil has a very thin consistency and spreads easily across the body. The body oil is infused with shea butter and argan oil.
Overall, I am really enjoying the body oil and the aroma of orange and ginger energises my senses.
