My Experience with Biotique Bio White Orchid Skin Whitening Body Lotion:
The body lotion comes housed in a small, white plastic bottle and has a green flip open cap. The 100ml bottle is quite small in size and it is perfect for travel purpose. The packaging is simple, sturdy and sleek. The hole in the bottle dispenses the right quantity of product. All the details about the product, directions of use and ingredient list has been mentioned on the bottle. This body lotion is available in 2 different size options of 100ml and 200 ml.
Biotique Bio White Orchid Skin Whitening Body Lotion looks pearly white in color and has a runny texture. It has a mild fragrance which is really pleasant to the senses. The fragrance doesn’t stay for long post application. The formulation spreads well on the skin and gets blended quickly. It gets absorbed fast and doesn’t need much massaging. My skin becomes quite dry and flaky during winters, so I can never skip using a body lotion. This particular variant is enriched with extracts of orchid, coconut and almond.
I don’t need a huge amount of product to cover the entire body. On application, this body lotion softens my skin and leaves a silky smooth finish. The formulation is very gentle to the skin and doesn’t cause any irritation. Biotique Bio White Orchid Skin Whitening Body Lotion feels very lightweight. It imparts decent hydration to the skin. However, the moisture imparted doesn’t last for long during winters. As a result, I need to apply this body lotion frequently.
Now let’s talk about the claims which I feel the product doesn’t live up to. Firstly, it claims to brighten the skin but I have not noticed any brightness. Also, it doesn’t help in fading of tough tan spots or reducing uneven skin tone. All I can say is you will experience a nice glow but it has nothing to do with skin brightening. Other than that, this body lotion performs decently on my dry skin type during dry months but can’t lock in moisture for long. I would have preferred a more intensive body butter to take care of the dryness. This lotion might be more suitable for summer months, but it is too early to comment now.
Overall, this is a nice body lotion with an affordable price tag. It is more of a one-time purchase for me. For my dry skin, I will prefer something with which hydration would last longer. Also, this body lotion does not have any SPF protection, so I will not buy it in the future.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Biotique Bio White Orchid Skin Whitening Body Lotion?
No, I won’t. I do recommend it to people who have oily/combination skin type. It is not meant for very dry skin during winters.
