Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara
Hello everyone!

I am reviewing another mascara for you, like you must all know that I have always loved experimenting with mascaras, this one of those similar experiments. I have used this several times in the past and thought of reviewing this today for you lovely ladies.
Product Claims- Extreme Build. Endless Volume. Exceptional Separation. The formula stays flexible, so each coat goes on as fresh as the first—immediately or hours later—without clumping, smudging or flaking. Think of it as the world’s first touchup mascara.

My Experience with Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara
The mascara comes in a medium sized sexy metallic cylindrical tube, it is pretty dainty as compared to the stubby tubes we usually see in drugstores. The wand is medium sized again, it is not huge and I prefer these sort of wands to stubby sized ones, since I feel that I am able to reach everyone of my lash, even the smallest ones, with ease and without it being too messy.
I had picked up this mascara since I was on a quest of a mascara that would provide me with dark intense eyelashes, with a lot of volume and length. The SA had assured me and my mother that it would provide me with the look I desired so badly.
The formula actually seemed pretty dry to other mascaras I have used in the past. But post application, my lashes did not feel clumpy or heavy. The wand was super easy to use and I could reach my tiny and lower lashes with ease and control. The good thing about the mascara was that it did not feel sticky on my lashes and despite reapplying it over and over again, I never felt like my lashes were glued together or were sitting uncomfortably. Also, it managed to hold my curl well after using an eyelash curler, but it was nowhere close to my Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara. However, remember I was on a lookout for a mascara that would provide me with intense eyelashes, this mascara did not live up to my expectations in that criteria. The ‘Extreme Party Mascara’ claim, is a bit too misleading and despite the promises of the SA at Bobbi Brown and from the mascara itself, it did not provide me enough volume, thickness or length. I would say that this mascara could be used for daily wear, since it is good enough for the day look. However if you are looking for a mascara that would provide you with great length and volume, this should be a definite miss.
Overall, it is a good mascara for day wear or for times when you don’t require your lashes to have extra volume. It is a great buy for a subtle look, after several coats of it. But otherwise, if I had to make it my staple mascara for all looks, I would not be so satisfied with it.
Pros of Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara
• The packaging is so sleek and sexy.
• The wand is not stubby, so its easier to reach your wall lashes and can be used on your lower lashes as well with ease.
• You can have a great control over the wand also because of its perfect sized wand.
• My eyelashes did not get clumpy or flaky upon application.
• The product can be reapplied over and over again without the mascara feeling too heavy or uncomfortable on the lashes.
Cons of Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara
• Does not live up to its claim of providing your lashes with an Extreme look.
• The formula is pretty dry as compared to other mascaras.
• It is a bit too expensive for the job it does.
Would I repurchase Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara again?
Probably not, I still have not finished this tube and I am pretty happy with my Chanel Mascara as of now.

Dry formula… Not for me… *nonono* *nonono* … But mascara in general is a must hav in my vanity
Same here! Try the Chanel or Maybelline Colossal its much better!
It is really very hard to find good mascaras *hihi* *headbang*
I know!
I hate dry formulas too! *nababana* Nicely reviewed, Rasshi! 🙂
Thank you Padmashree! 🙂
Hey Rasshi, we must shop for the same things because I have the same mascara too (albeit in a mini travel size). I wore it once and didn’t like it for the same reason – it was too dry to apply neatly and flaked all day.
Vive L’inimitable!
