Bobbo Brown Lipstick Valencia Orange, Melba, Pale Peach Review, Swatch, FOTD

Hi Everyone, 🙂
Every now and then I dig through my makeup heaven and pull out some makeup that I have not tried. This week I picked up some peach lipsticks from Bobbi Brown and gave these a try. See if you like some of them. 🙂

Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Color Melba 12

Price : Rs 1390
Finish : semi glossy. Sort of shine you get after applying a shiny lip balm.
Color : pale peachy n*de
Texture : creamy, smooth and moisturizing,
Longevity : around 4 hours.
Pigmentation : Semi sheer and not buildable. If you try to build it up, it looks all caked up. You can even out the lip color with your finger tip but if you apply it directly form bullet and expect it to look good, it wouldn’t.
Goes Best With : dark eye makeup / peachy coral blushes
Skin Tones : light to medium. Can work for dark skin tones as well if you like a really pale lip
Fragrance : Nothing noticeable
Do I like It? I absolutely love Bobbi Brown sheer lipsticks. I also love this color. It’s sort of no-lipstick kind of a look with a hint of definition. But best of the textures amongst the amazing selection of lipsticks I have used from this range. Don’t enjoy that it gets kinda cakey when I try to build the color directly from the bullet. This also has a tendency to settle in fine lines of lips.

Bobbi BrownCreamy Matte Lip Color Pale Peach 7

Price : Rs 1390
Finish : creamy matte
Color : a warm pale peach. Okay the color somehow gives that ‘disappeared lips’ kinda look :P. So you HAVE to apply a lip pencil with it for definition.
Texture : smooth and creamy
Longevity : around 4 + hours. Leaves light peachy stain behind.
Pigmentation : super opaque
Goes Best With : dark eye makeup. I feel on its own it can wash out color from face.
Skin Tones : light to medium
Fragrance : muted vanilla
Do I like It? I like it. It stays put without accentuating the fine lines or fading weirdly. It’s not drying at all. Gives a lovely matte finish to lips. The only drawback i find with this lipstick is that if you apply too much of it, it starts looking kinda milky. The best way, imho,is to apply it and then pat out the color with a tissue.

Finish : creamy matte
Color : a beautiful warm orange
Texture : smooth,and creamy
Longevity : good 4-5 hours and leaves stain behind.
Pigmentation : opaque
Goes Best With : light eye makeup / orange coral blushes
Skin Tones : all skin tones but an excellent orange lip color for warm Indian skin tones.
Fragrance : muted vanilla
Do I like It? Love it! It does not cake up or settle sin fine lines. Sometimes because of the matte texture it may feel a bit drying on lips but it’s not bothersome at all. A bit of lip balm underneath can do the trick.
