Boro Plus Exfoliating Scrub Review

Boro Plus Exfoliating Scrub

Hello super pretty people,

How is everybody doing? I have missed IMBB all this while, I had been busy, caught up in a lot of things. First of all, have you guys been to Jaipur Literature Festival. Well I have been volunteering for two years now, and I know it’s an epic place to be!

Do drop in your experience if you guys were here this time? And yes now coming back to the review, today will be talking about a walnut scrub, from Boro Plus, so scroll down and read on to know my experience.

Product Details (As per Website) BoroPlus Gentle Exfoliating Scrub (Removes dead cells and blackheads with exfoliating properties of Walnut and Pine oil)

Price- 60 INR

Packaging- White tube with press open cap.
Texture – Creamy paste with walnut granules

My experience with Boro Plus Exfoliating Scrub :

My skin is oily in summers and behaves normal in these freezing winters, but it tends to get weird if not followed with proper care. During these winters I was super careful with my skin and focused on cleansing and moisturizing, but then I witnessed spots on my cheeks and area around my nose. I was avoiding use of scrubs, my cheeks are super sensitive and then in winters I could not afford to handle them roughly *duh*

So, a hunt for a mild scrub started and hence this is how I landed with Boro Plus Exfoliating Scrub. I was using this scrub once or twice in a week.No different odor as such, very creamy smell, but I hated the texture of the scrub, I simply just don’t like big granules, and its full of them. The scrub is thick and spreads easily, so I use to apply it all over my face and neck let it sit and slowly massage and wash it off.

It is moisturizing, I felt the buttery effect left after rinsing off the scrub. All in all it gives the effect of scrubbing off the dirt and dead skin off the face. The packaging is very irritating! The scrub comes in tub and it has press open cap, with such a tiny nozzle, it may take you an entire minute in squeezing the tube to take out the scrub *headbang* *headbang*. Oh! This is the worst of the packaging I’ve used ever, for the granules are so big and the nozzle is a small pierce *headbang*

Pros of Boro Plus Exfoliating Scrub

Easily available
Travel friendly packaging
Does not dries out skin
Does the scrubbing off the dirt and oils

Cons of Boro Plus Exfoliating Scrub

Irritating open cap.
Big granules.

Recommend & Repurchase:

Market has a lot more options for scrubs, and I would definitely opt for others and would suggest the same, it does the mere job of cleaning and is an average scrub. With the packaging and rest experience, I will not recommend or repurchase it.

IMBB rating-3/5

Peace and love!! *puchhi*
