Hello Wonderful People,
How are you all?
I never really used tinted moisturizers until this year, many brands came up with their bb cream versions and I thought of giving it a shot. I was looking for a BB cream which suits my oily skin and I found this Boscia BB Cream SPF 27 PA++
What It Is?
An oil-free, skin-perfecting “Blemish Balm” that creates a flawless finish as it moisturizes and nourishes the skin.
What it is formulated to do:
- Oil-free botanical formula to promote skin elasticity and reduce the look of fine lines.
- Features SPF 27 sun protection.
- Comes in one universal lustrous shade.
B.B. Cream is the ultimate multi-functional treatment. The gentle botanical formula creates a lustrous, flawless finish as it hydrates, firms, and soothes the skin. It helps to diminish the appearance of pores, fine lines, and uneven skin tone while providing long-wearing, natural coverage that conceals imperfections. The self-adjusting shade warms to complement most skintones for sheer, flawless coverage. Designed to repair damage and protect skin from future damage without irritation, it’s packed with antioxidants and physical sunscreens that provide broad-spectrum sun protection rated to SPF 27 and PA++. The PA system is a grade of UVA protection that provides superior defense against the rays that cause collagen damage and photo-aging of the skin.
What it is formulated WITHOUT:
What else you need to know:
Beauty Balms or B.B. Creams were originally developed as a perfect post-procedure cream used to treat, hydrate, prime, protect, and camouflage the skin. Great for all skin types including those with sensitive skin, these versatile “five-in-one” formulas are designed to do it all: treat with high levels of active skin care ingredients; moisturize and smooth dehydrated skin; prime and perfect skin’s surface; camouflage and color correct the skin tone; and protect skin from the sun with SPF. They can be used as a last step for their skin care benefits or used on their own as an instant beautifier.
My Experience with Boscia BB Cream:
This beauty balm comes in a pretty tube packaging with silver cap. The formula of this balm is creamy. After applying, my face feels moisturized without any shiny feeling. There is just a single shade available which covers NC35 to NC40 of MAC. I just mixed it with my Lancome foundation and it gives a perfect shade to me. The consistency is creamy, it gives medium coverage, without giving a cakey look. It contains SPF 27 and PA++, that’s the best part about this product, and it’s oil free. I am using this product in this blistering weather and it didn’t break me out.
This is ideal for daily wear but as I said, this is a little warmer shade, so not for fair skin tones, you would have to mix any foundation of your choice with this to get the look you want. This BB cream contains a little bit of shimmer particles, but I am okay with it as its not much visible. This is a perfect balm to get blemish-free skin which looks natural, healthy and glowy. Overall, this is my first BB cream I ever used and I loved this, it’s perfect for summers. I would suggest to test this product at the counter before purchasing as it is an expensive affair.
Pros of Boscia BB Cream:
- Lightweight tinted moisturizer.
- Gives a natural and refined look.
- SPF 27 is satisfactory.
- It’s oil-free.
- Didn’t break me out.
- Good for all skin types.
Cons of Boscia BB Cream:
- Not for olive skin tones.
- It has shimmer particles, some of you may not like it.
