I had purchased this BB cream a couple of months ago but totally forgot to share my views on it. I actually didn’t end up using it much. To know why, read on further for the detailed review of Maybelline Super BB Moist Matte Cream SPF 24.

My Experience with Maybelline Super BB Moist Matte Cream SPF 24:
Beginning with the packaging of the product, Maybelline Super BB Moist Matte Cream SPF 24 comes housed in a black-colored plastic squeeze tube with detailing on it in metallic fonts. The packaging looks nice. This tube comes housed in a cardboard box which carries all product-related information on it.
The tube is sleek and does not eat up much space in my makeup pouch. It closes with a regular screw on type cap that fits nicely making it leak-proof and fit for travel purposes. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel friendly.
There are only two shades available and I have the shade “02,” which is a medium beige tone. This shade is suitable for medium skin tones only. The other shade “01 Natural Beige,” is too pale for Indian skin tones. Sadly, there is no shade for dusky skin tones, which is the biggest con of this product. Most of the drugstore brands don’t offer a diverse shade range in BB and CC creams. This is not a perfect match for my skin tone, but it kind of works. It would have been better if it had a slight yellowish undertone because this shade looks slightly ashy on my skin if I go overboard with it. I use a small dollop of this BB cream on my face and it imparts sheer coverage, which is buildable to medium coverage. The coverage is pretty decent. It helps in covering light blemishes and imperfections to a good extent.
The texture of the BB cream is semi thick and spreads nicely on the skin. You may use your fingers to blend this out, but I prefer using a stippling brush that helps me achieve seamless finish. The formula is non greasy and fit for normal to oily skin types. I have combination skin and this BB cream is kind of too matte as per my liking. It says it is “Moist Matte” but has a perfect finish. Also, if you skin have dry patches, etc. it tends to cling to them badly. So, this bb cream is good only for oily skinned beauties who do not suffer from dry or parched skin.
Once it is blended properly, it looks very natural on the skin and this makes it apt for everyday use. It comes with SPF-24 PA++ that helps in protecting the skin from harmful UV rays and makes it fit to be used under the sun. This BB cream is not very hydrating and my skin feels dry at the end of the day. The longevity of this BB Cream is somewhere around 4-5 hours, which is pretty decent. Overall, this product does its job well but the limited shade range is the huge con of this product.
