Today, I am reviewing a product that every girl with oily skin needs. I am talking about blotting sheets. I discovered blotting sheets two years ago and since then there has been no looking back. I have tried a couple of different ones. Here, I will be talking about the ones I have been using a lot recently, Boscia Green Tree Blotting Linens. This is something I always carry in my purse, especially in summers. Let’s get to know more about the product.
Boscia Fresh Blotting Linens absorb excess oil and banish shine without disturbing your makeup. These 100 percent natural linen, preservative-free facial blotting papers will keep you looking matte and lovely, all day long. Their compact holder slips easily into your purse, pocket, or desk drawer. It contains no parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, phthalates. These are ideal for all skin types including sensitive skin.
It retails for $10 for 100 sheets.
These come in a green card board box. Packaging is very convenient but not very strong. It will get ruined in the makeup bag over time.
100% abaca leaf fibers and green tea.
My Take on Boscia Green Tea Blotting Linens:
My opinion about these sheets is that they do what they are supposed to and they do it well, easy peasy! I love that Boscia Blotting Linens are made of 100% abaca leaf fibers. The brand has different types of blotting sheets available. These ones have a very subtle green tea scent that I like, nothing overwhelming.
Every day after a few hours of applying makeup and heading out, my T zone gets shiny and instead of applying powder to absorb the oil and ending up looking cakey, I prefer using these blotting sheets. They work like magic, absorb all the oil and my makeup does not budge. These sheets are very thin and flimsy, but they hold up well.
These sheets are of decent size too, I have used the sheets from ELF and Body Shop and they were quite small compared to Boscia ones. Well, after saying all this, I also want to say that paying $10 for these sheets might not be worth it when you have cheaper options around that work decently. I get mine in multiples when these go on sale for $5!
Pros of Boscia Green Tea Blotting Linens:
- Blots all the oil and sweat effectively.
- Does not budge makeup.
- Nice faint green tea smell.
- Decent sized sheets as compared to other brands.
- Contains all natural ingredients, no preservatives.
Cons of Boscia Green Tea Blotting Linens:
- A bit pricey if compared to other brands.
It is a good product and I will continue buying it (only when it comes on sale though). All you busy ladies who don’t have time for touch ups during the day would love these!
