I had few query and i think only you can help. My sister is getting married next month and we are looking our for lipstick to be worn during marriage. And we need it within Rs 200 and not more expensive then that. Also i am a working women can you suggest a lipstick for me in the same range for daily wear. please suggest brand and color of lipstick for us.
We are dusky skin more on the fairer side and stay in Mumbai.
Any suggestions will be appreciated as we do not have anyone else to turn to, coming from conservative south indian family not having visited beauty parlours and so.

I recommend maybelline colorsensation Hooked on Pink or Colorbar velvet matte Oh my magenta… Both are plummy pinks and work great with all Indian complexions and are very cheap too. 🙂

Khushi, I buy colorbar from Angels in Anna Nagar. Also in Parrys Corner near pookadai police station there was a shop which sells all beauty products…forgot the name of the shop…they have colourbar and Lotus counters… hope this helps.

Lippies under Rs.200 vl b jordana, streetwear and elle18.. All r available online.. See th reviews b4 u put ur hands on them.. Elle18 is not dat pigmented.. Feel jordana is better.. 🙂 if u can spend a bit more, maybelline moisture extreme is th best.. U wont ever get disappointed of thm.. 🙂

I recently tried Estee Lauder lip balm.. it is super moisturizing. Stays on for many hours.. but a bit expensive. About black lips.. nothing works.. but may be you can try tinted li balm. Lush Strawberry or even Oriflame Lip Spa is good. Try these out.

In the 100-200 range, you can buy elle-18 and faces go chic lipsticks…
for 200-250 bucks, maybelline moisture extreme are the best buys:)
Hey Megha, if you have access to an Oriflame consultant, pls check the pure colours range. These lipsticks come in 2.5gm bullets too which are very inexpensive (~100). They have a decent shade range. But ordering out of a catalogue can be risky so try getting testers or looking at swatches online…
