I am reviewing one of my favourite products today. I love using body mists a lot and just can’t get enough of them.. 🙂
So today I am reviewing this body mist from Calgon.

Product Description:
The new Moon Petal Musk takes the essence of our beloved fragrance with a modern twist–notes of sandalwood, exotic florals, and white amber have been added for a dreamy, seductive signature.

$6.99 for 8 FL OZ /236 ml
(This is a travel size bottle and I don’t remember how much it costs.)

It comes in a clear plastic spray bottle with a small plastic cap. The cap keeps falling off and the bottle doesn’t even have a seal which makes it not so travel friendly (Though I haven’t had any accidents so far )

My take on Calgon refreshing body mist – Moon Petal Musk:
I simply love the idea of body mists than the deodorants. I have used ULTA, Bodycology and Calgon one’s till date and all these three brands have such amazing fragrances. I love floral + fruity fragrances immensely.

The fragrance of this mist is just perfect, not too overpowering nor too light. This mist has notes of sandalwood, exotic florals, and white amber and yes, it is quite seductive.

I am amazed by its staying power. It stays all day long and stays on your clothes till you wash it. It does cause burning sensation if used after waxing / shaving. Also, if you have sensitive skin avoid spraying this directly on your skin as it does burn a little. I normally spray this on my clothes than on skin.

This is slight amber colored mist but doesn’t leave any stains behind. It’s almost about to get over now. I hope you can see a tinge of that amber color in the picture below.

• Inexpensive
• A little goes a long way
• Amazing staying power
• Pleasant fragrance
• Does not stain clothes

Cons of Calgon refreshing body mist – Moon Petal Musk:

• It isn’t alcohol free
• Caused burning sensation when used after waxing/shaving
• Not available in India 🙁

Will I repurchase Calgon refreshing body mist – Moon Petal Musk?
I will definitely repurchase it.

Do I recommend Calgon refreshing body mist – Moon Petal Musk?
Yes, however, if you have sensitive skin use this on your clothes instead of spraying it directly on your skin.
So ladies if you have someone coming from US do tell them to get body mists from either of the three brands.. ULTA, Calgon or Bodycology… of course there is Bath and Body Works too, but then you do get them in India.
