You might as well change my name to ‘That Cargo Chick’, since I’m smitten by this simple brand and can’t stop raving about it 😀 This time I got hold of their water-resistant blush, not for the precise feature, but for the color mostly. Let’s see if this could be what you are looking for!
This sweatproof, weatherproof blush has been tested by the make-up artists for Dancing With The Stars on the latest live tour. Water Resistant Blush stood up to hours of dancing! This longwearing formula withstands moisture so you don’t have to fuss with re-application. Specially formulated with a unique silicone-coated powder that provides better adhesion to the skin and withstands water.
Features and Benefits:
• Silicone coated pigments provide better adhesion to skin and withstand water.
• L-lysine , an amino acid found naturally in the skin, increases the long wearing and water resistant properties because of its natural affinity to skin.

My Experience with Cargo Swimmables Bali Water Resistant Blush:
This is a soft, rosy pink blush, with a hint of sheen in it. It comes in the familiar tin packaging that is synonymous with most of the Cargo products. It is travel friendly in its packaging, but the lack of a blush brush does not convince me to have it in my bag. The texture is velvety and matte, but it has an understated shine to it. I have fair – medium skin and I don’t need too much to build this up. I don’t think this would show up too well on darker skin tones though. Once I build it to the intensity I like, it looks quite natural and nothing too OTT. The sheen makes my skin glow, almost acting like a highlighter. Now the major downside is that, it isn’t very long lasting if I don’t wear foundation. My skin is normal on the cheeks, but somehow the blush doesn’t cling for too long if I just put it. However, when I have some foundation on, it works pretty well. After around 4-5 hours, the sheen and the intensity of the color does decrease. Considering that it is named a water resistant blush, I don’t feel that it lives entirely upto its name. You can also see in the pictures where I did a little water experiment to simply test it out. They really could’ve named it long-lasting, humid resistant or something else, instead of calling it water resistant. In all honesty, I like to use it, and I do reach out for this. Considering the size, this is going to last me a very very long time!

Would I Buy or Recommend Cargo Swimmables Bali Water Resistant Blush ?
If you are fair to medium toned, I think you may like it! This will last me for a long time, so I may not buy this anytime soon. But if you like a natural looking blush, then this is a good option, if you can give a blind eye to the cons!
