A few months back , I was watching someone’s video tag on youtube and there was a question which said , ” which is one makeup brand that has never ever let you down ? ” Her answer was, “Chanel“. It’s been since then I have been wanting to try stuff from Chanel. But you know when it comes to luxury brands, you want someone who introduces you to the brand, shows you around and makes you feel at home. I met a few people from Chanel yesterday at their Boutique in Imperial Hotel and I realized that there is so much we need to explore from the brand, not only in makeup but also in perfumes and fashion. They have a very warm makeup studio in their boutique where you can get a nice makeup done, test and try loads of stuff and pamper yourself. 🙂 They also have a little magical mirror inside the studio which shows how your makeup would look lets say, if you are going out for a candlelight dinner or a night time party or simply in a full day light. There are makeup artists who are passionate about the brand and would show you stuff with equal love and enthusiasm. I think you guys must take an appointment at the Chanel Boutique in Imperial hotel and visit them sometime. Only to get yourself pamapered. 🙂 Here are a few things from their latest “Chanel Les Pop-Up de Chanel Collection- Summer 2010” Collection. 
Rouge Allure Lipstick – GENIAL
It is a bold pinkish bold coral shade. 
Chanel Gloss Fluo (Glossimer)
The shade is Bikini Peach. The shade is a gold-speckled peachish pink.
Chanel le vernis
MISTRAL is a soft and natural pink and it has gold and purple specks.

I agree but I have kind of accepted the fact that we are going to get everything expensive here. Sigh!! Wish we could get the same samples and prices just like the US people.

This is the only brand , my dad loves to buy for us when he travels abroad. Lip gloss shade reminds me of Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimer in Mica

If you go to promenade, check out Lancome and Inglot. Both have lovely boutiques there and MAC is obviously there. 😛

Yeah, that is one of the 5 perfumes created by Coco Chanel herself. I think in 1921, not sure though. 🙂
No the gloss doesn’t have any fragrance and I think it has decent staying power as well. Just tried for shrt time so cannot claim but will surely tell you. 🙂
