Skin-tone-Fair to medium; skin-type-Combination and acne prone

As you all know, I have oily skin and the oil gushes back after 3-4 hours of doing makeup. I usually use dewy foundations for that glow and hence need a good loose powder to top it up. I saw this new one from “colorbar” and hence thought of grabbing it. The festive season is coming up and I would want my makeup to stay the whole day. So see how this worked for me.

My experience with Colorbar flawless air brush finish loose powder beige fair :
Packaging: The packaging of this colorbar loose powder, is as classy as always. The powder comes in a silver box. The loose powder has a silver lid, which looks like a mirror. I can easily see myself in it hence it is bonus. The tub is a circular one which has a rotating cap. It is very handy and there is absolutely no fall-out when travelling. There are 3 shades available and I have picked the lightest one out of all. There is a lock system inside, when you rotate the packaging, it gets covered over the little holes like in a talc. I wasn’t comfortable picking the powder from those little holes, hence I take out the entire lid and then use the powder.
Shade, texture and coverage: The shade I picked up is called “beige fair”, and it is the lightest shade in the 3 shades available. The shade goes perfect on my skin when topped up on a foundation but when used alone, it looks a bit white. Hence if you have dull skin, using this directly won’t look that attractive, it will be wise to use it on a foundation. The powder is really fine and does not feel gritty or chalky on the skin.
It is finely milled and gives a perfect flawless finish. It blends like a dream on my skin and gives that airbrushed feel. It has a light to medium coverage. It does hide imperfections completely, but makes them look lighter. It makes my face look fresh and bright and the skin tone looks very even as well. It covers the redness, making my skin look healthy. It always works the best when used on a foundation.
Staying power: It stays for a good time of 6-7 hours, and keeps the oil at bay as well. It takes away all the excess shine giving a matte finish and keeps my face oil-free for long. It is great for oily skin but the dry skin will have to be moisturised correctly, since it clings to dry patches. I really like this one for oily skin, but if you find a cheaper dupe, then do go for it.

I think this one will go a long way. I really liked it for my oily skin, so if you have oily skin, do try it! If you have dry skin, then there are better ones out there!
