I love nail paints so much, but I have thin and brittle nails that break easily. So, I had to keep them short and trim, but still I love painting them. I have hauled so many nail paints from Colorbar recently. Today, I am reviewing Colorbar Matte Nail Lacquers in the shade Green Haze and Love Bug and Colorbar 24 Ct Nail Lacquer in the shade Antique Gold and Liquid Gold. Keep reading for more details.

My Experience with Colorbar Green Haze, Love Bug Matte Nail Lacquers”
The nail paints have standard glass bottle packaging. The packaging is nice, sturdy and travel friendly. The see-through bottle helps to see the shades from outside. The matte silver screw on type cap fits very tightly and makes this nail polish bottle leak proof. The applicator is soft and of good quality. It spreads well and glides smoothly on the nails. The shade name and number is mentioned on the top of the cap on a color-coded sticker. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel friendly.
Now let’s discuss each shade one by one:
Green Haze: The shade “Green Haze” is a gorgeous teal green shade with some bluish hints. There are no shimmers in the nail paint. The shade is beautiful and looks nice on my nails. I have never loved greens this much. This is my favorite green nail paint. The nail paint sets to a nice ultra-matte finish within a few seconds. The nail paint is decently pigmented. Just two swipes are good enough to get a rich opaque finish.
Love Bug: The shade “Love Bug” is a deep cranberry red shade. It looks deeper after some time of application. This is a stunning bright red. Though, it is a deep red, it looks stunning on the nails. The matte finish of the nail paint makes it look even more gorgeous. It enhances the beauty of my hands. The nail paint is amazingly pigmented. Just one swipe of the nail paint is good enough to impart an opaque coverage. Though, one coat gives rich color but second coat makes the color more intense and even.
The texture of the nail paint is great. The smooth consistency made the nail paints glide effortlessly on the nails, but the consistency is slightly on the runnier side. So, I had to be a little careful while picking up the nail paint. The nail paint dries pretty quickly in a minute or two. It stayed nicely on nails for some 4-5 days with a base coat and a good top coat, but I observed a little chipping of the nail paint. Removing the nail paint is pretty easy. I use my Maybelline color show nail paint remover, which helps to remove the color perfectly. The color gets removed easily without leaving any stain behind. Overall, I really love this range and matte finish of this nail polish. So, I will surely try more gorgeous colors from Colorbar.

My Experience with Colorbar Antique Gold, Liquid Gold 24CT Nail Lacquers:
These 24 Ct nail lacquers come in the usual Colorbar packaging. The nail paint comes in a regular see-through glass bottles. I can see those sparkling gold nail paints from outside only. These bottles have a mirror finish gold cap. This screw on type cap fits tightly and makes the nail polish bottle leak proof. There is applicator attached to this cap. The applicator has soft bristles that glide smoothly on the nails. The bottle is very handy and travel friendly.
This 24 Ct range from Colorbar comes in six gorgeous shades – Coppertone gold, rose gold, liquid gold, antique gold, pinken gold and olive gold. I am not into gold nail paints much. I only own a rose gold shade from Maybelline. So, I decided to try these glittery gold nail paints and find these shades great for parties and weddings. Let’s discuss each shade one by one.
Antique Gold: This shade is a strong bronze gold shade. The nail paint is loaded with fine gold shimmers, which gives a bright and illuminating effect this nail paint. The shade looks more bright and intense in the bottle but looks subtle on the nails. The pigmentation of the nail paint is good. It requires some 2-3 swipes to make the color pop.
Liquid Gold: The shade “Liquid Gold” is a pure gold shade with loads of gold shimmers in it, which makes it look so dazzling. The nail paint looks nice on the nails. The shimmers in the nail paint are fine and non chunky. The pigmentation is good. It takes some 2 to 3 swipes to build up the color properly.
The texture of the nail paint is very smooth. The nail paint glides effortlessly on the nails, but the consistency is slightly on the runnier side. So, it requires extra care while picking up the nail paint in the brush. These gold shades are great for parties and weddings but these are definitely not everyday shades. The nail paints dry up pretty quickly within a few minutes. It stays on my nails for some 4-5 days easily with a little chipping. Removing the nail paint is pretty easy. A good nail paint remover easily removes the color from the nails. But, the shimmers in the nail paints are left behind on my fingers. So, it requires more effort to remove the shimmers perfectly. Overall, this 24 Ct range has stunning gold shade with good quality. So, if you love gold, you should pick your favorite gold nail lacquer.
