Today, I will be reviewing my favorite lip product from the brand Colourpop. Let’s get into the review.
Matte, full coverage, super long wearing, ultra-comfortable and seriously loaded with pigment in a matte finish.
$5 for 1.0 g / 0.0352 oz.
My Experience with ColourPop Brink Lippie Stix:
It comes in a white cardboard packaging with the shade name at the bottom. Lippie Stix is a sturdy white tube, reminds me of a stick pen packaging. It’s color coded at the bottom and helps you identify the shade easily. It comes in a twist-up mechanism and it shuts with a click, which is good during travel. The problem that I find is that since it’s all white, the packaging attracts dirt easily.
“Brink” is described as a terracotta rose shade. It looks peachy n*de on my skin tone. This colour will suit a wide range of skin tones and it’s a beautiful n*de for medium skin tones. It makes a great everyday colour and also goes well with green smokey eye makeup.
Brink has a matte formula. It is smooth to apply, does not appear dry or patchy. The color does not settle into lip lines. It gives a natural and healthy finish to the lips and it feels very lightweight on my lips.
Pigmentation is good, not so heavily pigmented like ColourPop liquid lipsticks. This one requires 2 to 3 swipes to cover up my heavily pigmented lips. It does not look patchy upon layering. When applied with the lip pencil, it can cover pigmentation completely.
Brink stays on my lips for 5+ hours without any smudging or fading. And with meals, it fades evenly. It leaves a beautiful tint behind, which is a plus for me.
