When I shopped from ColourPop, I made sure to try each product from their different ranges. 😀 I also picked one shade from their Lippie Stix collection called “Sauce.” Let’s get to the review now 🙂

My Experience with ColourPop Lippie Stix Sauce:
All the ColourPop products have their white packaging.The Lippie Stix comes with a white plastic body with a colour-coded bottom. When the cap is opened, it reveals the colour coded tube with the lipstick bullet. I am a huge fan of the bullet because it fits on my thin lips like a dream 😀 It looks like a sketch pen and is easy to carry around.
“Sauce” is described to be a true dusty rose, but I don’t know why but it looks like a mauve pink color on me with fuchsia tones. The swatches on the website were also a little misleading. Nonetheless, I love it, but at the end of the day it is not what I expected it to be. It will easily suit almost all skin tones.
The pigmentation is simply superb. I need only a swipe to get full colour. The formula is completely matte. It sets after a while after which it transfers minimally. The formula is really good; very comfortable on the lips. It feels like next to nothing. It sets to a powdery matte finish, but sometimes, it tends to settle in lines which in turn make my lips a little dry.
Lasting power is also good with a wear time of 6 hours; however, it does transfer to cups and spoons but somehow the color still stays on the lips, but at the end of the day, it can be slightly drying if the lips are not in good shape.

The Matte X formula is amazing and a must have for all matte lovers. The shade will work for most skin tones so definitely recommended.
