I didn’t like MAC lip liners until I gave this Pro Longwear Lip Pencil range a try. If you have dry, chapped lips and cannot find the right lip pencil formula for them, then this is the range you must try. This range is creamier than their basic lip liners and is long wearing as well. Today I am reviewing the shade ‘In Control’, read on to find out more.

My Experience with MAC In Control Pro Longwear Lip Pencil:

MAC In Control Pro Longwear Lip Pencil comes housed in a non-retractable black pencil with the shade name and brand name printed around the pencil. The end of the pencil is colour-coded, hence finding a particular shade in a stash becomes easier.

This range has the creamiest lip pencil formula by MAC. MAC In Control Pro Longwear Lip Pencil glides like butter on my dry lips, which means there is no tugging or pulling. It is intensely pigmented and you don’t need to go over and over again to build up the coverage. It is also transferproof and would even survive a full meal.

In Control is a pinky brown shade. It would look flattering on all skin tones. The colour is so beautiful that I wear it alone with a gloss on top. It does feel dry after 4 to 5 hours of wear, so generally I apply a lip balm or gloss on top when I feel a little bit dryness. It feels very lightweight and comfortable on the lips.

It does last pretty well on my lips. Generally, I get maximum 5 hours of wear time with MAC normal lip liners, but the Pro Longwear Lip Pencil formula offers 8 to 9 hours of wear time. Even when it fades it leaves a nice stain behind.
