Just stop pumping the mascara wand in the tube. Because of pumping, the air gets inside the mascara tube and dries the liquid . This results the product to clump.. 😮

darl, try the colorbar I-Glide first. I have the Lakme Glide on in Bridal Pink. LOVE the color – dont think i can find it in other brands. But the product itself. Ugh. the whole tube of the product just fell out of the pencil outer covering…! 😯
Try even the Chambor – which are pretty smooth glide like pencils.

This was really a great tip… another thing is, one should clean the mascara wand every 2-3 weeks to get the bristles clear of any clots. Best way to do is to take a cotton ball, soak it in any cleansing oil (I use Biotique almond cleansing oil), and just wipe the wand tip with it, many times. 🙂 🙂 I have noticed quite a huge difference in my mascara applicator, using this tip!! 😀 😀

I clean my mascara wand once every month with castor oil.This prevents clumping to quite an extent also.
