Even before we makeup junkies got hold of Chambor and Revlon liquid lipsticks, these lipsticks have always been around. If you are in Mumbai or Pune, you would always find them in Beauty Collection or Beauty Centre stores. The display of this brand is very loud due to the packaging, very off-putting bright colors, but nevertheless, the products from this brand are amazing. They need to revamp the packaging a bit.
An amazing lip color in a liquid form with matte iridescent and metallic effects assures long lasting make up results. The creamy soft velvety texture is light and comfortable. It doesn’t feel heavy or greasy, the non transfer lip color allows perception in every occasion.
My Experience with Diana of London 2000 Kisses Wonderful Berry Pink Lipstick:
It’s a regular lip gloss like packaging. The wand is a regular sponge tip doe-foot applicator. The color inside is a creamy lipstick, that sets to matte perfection in seconds. This shade is a light, cool-toned doll pink shade, not very versatile. If you have cool skin tone or if you are fair, you can carry this. In case you have any yellow tones to your skin, you can give this shade a big miss.
The texture is creamy and dries to matte finish in 60 seconds flat. The color then adheres to the lips like second skin. It does not smudge or crack on my lips. Also, very surprisingly, this lipstick does not dry out my lips at all. If you have very chapped lips, give it a miss.
My only problem with this lipstick is that to get an even and opaque finish, you need to give proper time and focus. If you have pigmented lips, this would surely cover it up. I like to top this lipstick with another pink gloss. It would last through your meals, but as soon as it comes into contact with oil, this would start getting patchy.
Pros of Diana of London 2000 Kisses Wonderful Berry Pink Lipstick:
- Creamy smooth finish.
- Doll pink shade.
- Matte and long lasting.
- This particular shade is meant for lighter cool-toned skin.
Cons of Diana of London 2000 Kisses Wonderful Berry Pink Lipstick:
- Needs precise application.
- Gets slightly patchy.
- Not a shade for warm skin tones.
Would I Recommend/Repurchase Diana of London 2000 Kisses Wonderful Berry Pink Lipstick?
Yes, but not this shade to Indian skin tones. This would make your skin look very yellow. Diana of London has a plethora of shades to offer, I like the lipstick overall though!
