My Experience with Eve Lom Dynaspot
Although I have normal to dry skin, I always like to keep a good spot treatment handy with me. Also since I travel quite a bit and also end up trying various beauty products for reviews, I do end up getting a breakout or a two every now and then.
Dynaspot comes packed in this little white tube. It has a thin nozzle that helps control the amount of product you need. And I really appreciate that because you really need a teeny-tiny bit in one go. The product is pale chalky pink in color. It dries in a chalky texture if you just apply it on top of a pimple. Although the description says that you can wear it underneath your makeup, I would like to disagree on that. First it is too light / pale pink for my medium olive skin tone. During day time I like to wear light makeup so it pretty much shows through unless I go over it with a concealer. If you apply a thick dot, it pretty much dries to a chalk like texture. But if you rub it in quite a bit, it also disappears to nothing. Now I really don’t like to rub a product too much on my zit. So for me it is a night time treatment and I honestly don’t mind that. But for me it did not work out at all. I tried it so many times and even took it with me during a trip but it works too slow for me and I have to keep using it for a couple of days at stretch for a zit to completely settle down. With so many days, I am unsure if my zit dies down because of this product or just on its own. I tried it severl times before I gave up on it. On the contrary when I started using the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion, it worked brilliantly for me. And that was exactly the kind of result I was expecting from this. It does not tingle my skin or makes it any more sensitive and probably that’s the only pro I can list for this one. A lot of people swear by this but this did not work for me at all.
