Faces 010 Bare Again Glam On Lipstick Review

This is my first product review and I am so happy. So, Faces has come to India with a storm and has been launching a lot of new products. I have only tried the Ultime Pro Long Wear Matte Lipstick and the Go Chic ones. Since, I liked the Pro Long Wear Matte ones, I decided to pick up lipsticks from their new range, Glam On, which have a lot of great shades. I got the shade, 010 Bare Again a week ago and since then, I have been wearing it every day. Yes, every day. I am a little crazy about lipsticks. So, I thought I should enlighten all the pretty ladies out there about this product.

My Experience of Faces 010 Bare Again Glam On Lipstick:

I have read all the reviews on IMBB about the Glam On range and people seem to have liked it a lot, but for me, this did not work. I love the colour because it is a nice nude with pink undertone. I absolutely adore the colour. The fact that it is paraben free and that it also moisturises the lips made me pick up another colour, Lady in Red from the range.

I love this packaging. I think it is very classy and cute at the same time. I must say that Faces is really good, when it comes to packaging. So, the packaging gets a big thumbs up from me.

The texture is very creamy and the lipstick glides on very smooth. It has a sheen to it, which is not too over the the top and that is amazing. It is not a dry matte at all. So, if you hate creamy and greasy lipsticks, then this is not meant for you.

It is sticky and it bleeds. It also transfers a lot. My coffee cup had stains and I had to wash it a lot because the stain just would not come out, which indicates that the lipstick is long wearing. If it can stick to a cup, it can stick to our lips too.

Other than that, it felt too greasy on the lips and settled into my lip lines. The lines looked like I had drawn them with a lip pencil (yes, it was that bad after a while). I was not very pleased with this product. The Go Chic ones and Long Wear ones did a better job for me. Also, it stayed only for 4 hours on my lips, but again it bleeds a lot outside the lips. Every time I put my hand near the lips, it was on my hand. At a point I thought, the lipstick had reached my forehead too 😛 P.S: If my lips seem like they have been stung by bees, they are not. This how they look all the time 😛
