MY Experience with Frank Body Lip Scrub:
The packaging is cute and compact. It comes in a slender tub with a black lid which is not bulky, and makes it easier to carry around with you in your handbag.
This lip scrub also has some wonderful natural ingredients, just like their lip balm. It contains ground robusta and coffee seed oil which stimulates blood flow and collagen production. So, your lips look smooth and plump. It also contains raw sugar like other scrubs, which aids in gentle exfoliation that polishes away dry skin, revealing soft and pink lips.
There is also cold-pressed macadamia oil which provides a hit of hydration that ensures the scrub is gentle enough to be used on delicate lips. It is also infused with ethically-sourced beeswax, a moisturizer than lingers on the lips to leave them soft and supple, even after rinsing the scrub away.
The scrub looks like brown sugary mixture, as it is infused with coffee. A small amount is enough for the entire lips. I expected it to be rough on my lips, as most lips scrubs would be. But, this was soft and smooth, yet it removed all the dry skin and made my lips feels a lot smoother. Once washed, it gave a silky fresh feeling to my lips. As you would know, Frank Body is famous for their coffee infused skin care. So as expected, this lip scrub tastes and smells like coffee. If you are a coffee addict, then this will be a treat for you.
Just like the lip balm, even this lip scrub made my pale and pointless lips, all the more fresh, pouty and plump looking. Overall, I am impressed with Frank Body and I am sure to try their iconic body scrubs soon.
