My Experience with Freeman Shea Butter and Lemongrass Replenishing Body Lotion:

With the winters taking over, the weather has turned very dry and cold. My body is very dry and winters are the harshest for my body. My skin gets so dry that I feel I am shedding. With frequent exfoliation to get rid of the dry skin, my skin becomes drier and the only respite is finding a rich moisturizing lotion. Freeman was never my first choice, to be honest; but as it consists of shea butter and it claims to cure rough and dry skin, I wanted to try it. Also, it was more affordable than any other brand for the quantity it provided.

I have used Freeman charcoal sugar scrub till now and I am in love with it. So, the brand was a hit with me when I picked this one. The packaging is quite simple. It comes in a bright yellow curvy bottle with a white cap. The flip cap is in the middle and is small, so the whole cap isn’t a flip cap. The flip cap is quite good but not so strong, so carrying the lotion can be a little risky. The lotion is white in color and is rich and creamy. The consistency is semi thick.

The smell is a bit weird! It neither smells like shea butter nor lemongrass; it is a bit strong and the smell is not that great and puts me off. But the smell stays for a very short period and thus you can get away with it. The lotion, when applied, takes a while to get absorbed. You need to massage a little more than usual to get the lotion absorbed into the skin. This can be a little irritating when you are in a hurry. I, most of the times, leave the lotion just like that to get absorbed by my skin. The absorption takes a minute or two and this is a big turn off. However when I massage the skin, it instantly brightens up and looks nourished.

The lotion provides a very good amount of moisturization to my skin and makes dryness disappear. My skin becomes dry by the end of summer and in harsh winters. So, I usually reapply lotion 2-3 times in a day. But I need not do so when I apply this lotion. Once in the morning and my skin is fed with rich moisture that goes on for the whole day. I have smooth and supple skin even after 8 hours of application. The lotion is a boon for those who suffer from extremely dry skin. The lotion also doesn’t leave any greasy residue and gets completely absorbed by the skin after a few minutes. Overall, I am completely happy with the product and it is a must-have when you are struggling hard in those harsh, nasty winters.

So, summing up:
