Garnier Fructis Volume Boost Instant Boost Dry Shampoo
This weekend I witnessed snow for the first time in my life and I was supper excited 😛 I did skiing, tubing and made a snowman too, it was so much fun. Coming to today’s product, from the day I saw Rati’s review for dry shampoo my hands were itching to try one . In India I used to wash my hair every 2 days but in US, due to lack of time and cold weather I am not able to wash my hair sometimes even for 4 days. So Dry shampoo looked like an end to all my problems and I went to the nearby store to buy L’Oreal Dry Shampoo. However I couldn’t find it and in desperation bought the Garnier Fructis Volume Boost Instant Boost Dry Shampoo.
Price: $5.99 for 3.4oz
What the product Claims: This dry shampoo, containing a blend of orange citrus and grape extract, immediately refreshes and bodifies lifeless locks, instantly creating volume you can see and feel.
Just spray into flat hair and comb or brush through to absorb oil and instantly eliminate weight and refresh your volume anytime, day or night.
My Experience with Garnier Fructis Volume Boost Instant Boost Dry Shampoo:
I don’t have oily hair but when not washed for 4 days my hair gets all flat and oily. So I wanted something which can make my flat hair fresh and bouncy and can make then clean and washed even after 3 days of wash. This Dry shampoo worked for me but not completely. It does absorbs the oil on my scalp but does not give that just washed hair feel to my hair. The flatness reduces, and it gives some volume and bounce to hair but nothing like it hides the dirty hair feel.
It comes in a can with spray nozzle. And one should spray on roots of hair first section by section and then overall if needed. Leave it for sometimes and then comb the hair and the hair feels fresh and oil free. This for sure takes less time and effort then washing hair but the feeling of washed hair is not which it gives. It has nice citrusy fresh smell and the smell stays in hair for a day. Other good thing is it does not leave any residue or white cast on my hair. Scalp does not feel heavy or itchy. In totality, I feel its a good dry shampoo but not the best dry shampoo.
Pros of Garnier Fructis Volume Boost Instant Boost Dry Shampoo:
• Absorbs scalp oil instantly.
• Give bounce to flat hair.
• Has afresh smell which stays in thehair full day.
• No residues left on scalp.
• Travel friendly packaging.
Cons of Garnier Fructis Volume Boost Instant Boost Dry Shampoo:
• Does not give the just washed feel.
IMBB Rating: 3.5/5
Will I be Repurchasing Garnier Fructis Volume Boost Instant Boost Dry Shampoo?
