8 Hair Cleanser Recipes To Replace Shampoo

1. Herbal Shampoo

You Need:
• Shikakai powder
• Amla powder
• Reetha powder

1. Mix all powders in equal proportion in warm water and make a semi-solid paste (not too thick, not too runny).
2. Massage your hair and scalp with this mixture for 3-4 minutes and leave it on it for 5 minutes (if hair is very oily).

2. Cucumber Shampoothie

You Need:
• 2 cucumbers
• Juice of 2 lemons
• Water

1. Blend cucumbers and lemon juice in a blender with 1 ½ cups water.
2. Wash hair like usual with this cucumber shampoothie.
3. Wash hair thoroughly with water followed by lemon/vinegar rinse.

Note:Make sure you use a wide toothed comb in order to comb your hair gently and slowly to avoid breakage. Do this at the end of your shower to remove all cucumber flakes.

• 1 banana
• 5 tbs milk
• 1 tsp honey

1. Blend all ingredients together in a blender till you get a rich smooth consistency.
