How To Make Lush Cosmetic Warrior (to soothe & heal oily, sensitive & problem skin) at home

Lush Cosmetic Warrior

One of us has an oily-acne prone skin so this is what I made for her.

Following is the description and the list of ingredients in the real pack.

Cosmetic Warrior (to soothe & heal oily, sensitive & problem skin)
Effective, anti-bacterial face mask to combat spots If nature didn’t mean us to pick our spots why did she give us fingers? No, don’t pick! That only makes them worse. Use Cosmetic Warrior instead. Garlic and tea tree kill off stray bacteria, fresh eggs give your skin protein and help to close the pores, fresh, organic garlic is the wonder-veg which really zaps those zits. China Clay clears out your pores and honey soothes your sore skin. Now wash it off (no rubbing!), spray on the Tea Tree Water then apply your favorite moisturizer. Goodbye spots. (No picking!)

Ingredient
Kaolin, Fresh Green Grapes, Fresh Free-Range Eggs, Honey, Cornflour, Glycerine, Fresh Garlic, Tea Tree Oil, *Limonene, Perfume

Here’s my version of Lush Cosmetic Warrior (to soothe & heal oily, sensitive & problem skin):

  • 3-4 fresh green grapes (mashed with a fork)
  • 2-3 drops of egg white
  • 1-2 drops of lacto calamine for oily skin
  • 1/4 tsp of honey
  • 1 drop of glycerin
  • 2-3 drops of Fab India orange spray (orange spray might not suit everyone so please substitute it either with rose water or tea tree oil/spray)
  • 1/2 clove garlic mashed

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and apply the paste on your face and neck with your fingers. Rinse your face with cold/w arm water after applying the mask for 15-20 minutes.

My friend’s review was that her skin feels fresh, calm, and that her pores weren’t screaming loud on her face. lol!! She is not able to explain much just that she said her skin feels clean and nice.

PS: I skipped adding cornflour because of various reasons. If you have tea tree oil or spray, you may use it instead of the orange spray that I used. You may also use direct multaani mitti instead of lacto calamine.

I would be making more for her today for her stocking purpose. 🙂

  1. Yup it’s better to make lush dupes at home esp stuff like face/body masks. Cheaper n u needn’t worry about expiration dates.
Change my website address, so new gravatar for me 😀

    ♥XX♥

  2. Def going to try this. Never made a beauty product before but since
I have that book I told you about I’m very interested in home made products.
I don’t know where to get the orange spray so I think I’ll use tea tree.
There are so many things I can’t find here.
It’s probably somewhere but I’m bad at finding it.

    1. I would say that you either substitute the orange spray either with rose water or tea tree oil/ spray. Orange is citric in nature and it does not suit everyone. I asked my friend if she feels any irritation with lemon or orange on her face, she didn’t.

Try this on your own only if you are not allergic to any ingredient mentioned in the list. Home made products can be tricky sometimes. 🙂

  3. yay this is sooo exciting! i think i have all the ingredients at home right now (plus multani mitti, which is excellent!) :-)) thank you so much! trish xx
