Tanu Asks:
I have a query and I hope that all you ladies would give your lovely suggestions. My eyeliners double up as a crease on my eyes, be it liquid or pencil..they crease on my eyes and doesn’t stay on my eyes for more than 2 hours;they just fade away.. how can i fix this problem??

I am waiting for the response from all you experienced lovely imbbians..
Use an eyeshadow primer before applying eyeliner. Always use a waterproof eyeliner.
thnks.. :thanks:
can ou just name some primers and good waterproof liners.
BHCosmetics Eye and Lip Primer and Urban Decay Primer Potion. 🙂
Water proof eyeliners like Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner (Comes in a twisty pen type packaging.) or Maybelline Gel liner and Inglot Gel liner. 🙂
Hi Tanu,
Even i face this problem with pencil eyeliners. they start fading and spread to my crease:(
though this is not the case wiht the liquid eyeliners. suggestions please
liquid liners break in my case …
I would also suggest applying a base/concealer and then applying a gel eyeliner. Gel eyeliners do not smudge or fade away but if you have a long day ahead of you, reapplication might be required after 5 to 6 hours.
thnks for the suggestion :thanks: .. can u just tell me the name of some good gel eyeliners???
maybelline is affordable and good. about 350 bucks I think.. MAC is also very good..slightly more expensive..around 1000 bucks
NYX hd e/s base is gr8.. use maybelline gel liners.. they r easily available… or if nothing then use a stick basd concealer topped of with loose powder(compact, if thhts availble) and then apply ur eye makeup.. it shud definitely stay on longer :waytogo:
:thanks: :thanks: ..is nyx available in delhi..?
i am using covergirl concealer but that is not very good.. plz suggest some good concealer and compact /loose powder.. ?:) ?:)
a search on IMBB should yield good results for compact/loose powder/concealer but my personal favourites are the MAC concealer and the MAC satin finish compact. Loose powder me also on the hunt for but i have heard the TBS loose powder is very good..
oh gr8 ive found nyx e/s base.. cud u plz tell me which among d 3 shud i buy…

Tanu, i often face the same issue… i guess its prolly of the small eye lids u have…(even i have small eye lids)
wht u can do is apply a thin line of u r liner, use good quality eye pencils /liners( i use faces eye pencils now and thy dont crease and gel liners)
u can also use an eye primer or set ur liners with an eye shadow 🙂
I do not use concealer, but use a little bit of oil free foundation and then apply oil free compact powder. My own way.. Then I apply liquid eyeliner.. haven’t tried gel eyeliners..
I use Revlon foundation and lakme compact.. Hope this helps..
I use an eyeshadow primer and apply some loose powder or compact powder on top of it. Sometime is even put a wash of matte skin tone color eyeshadow . That prevents the creasing and oiliness form my lids. 🙂
i face the same problem. thanks for all the tips guys… :thanks: :jiggy1:
try priming ur lids frst tn use gel liner.they nevr fade away unles u remve wd a makeup remvr..pencils r sft n tend 2 smudge expect sm exclnt ones esp. Colorbar, lakme 9 to 5,lakme glide on ones..deborah milano r gud 2..gud luck :waytogo:

Hi guys! I just wanted to know(though this question isnt really apt for this category) but..
I put kajal on my waterline and it never stays. After a while, it all smudges and I get raccoon eyes. So I read somewhere I should use powder. Now, Im confused as to what kind of powder exactly.. Someone told me I should just use the Ponds talcum and put a bit under the eyes.. and kajal will never smudge. Is that right? or are there some other products specifically for this purpose? PLEASE help. You guys are really intelligent! 🙂 😉
