IMBB Most Fashionable Summer Look Contest Entry– 56

Hi All, Please Welcome Anks as our 56th contest entry in our IMBB Most Fashionable Summer Look Contest!

I was not gonna participate in this but sending a last minute entry. These pics are from last year. They are definitely not high fashion, but do conform to comfortable summer wear!

My apologies for the tightly cropped pic. But I had very few pics that show the complete outfit. Here is outfit the breakdown –
• Top: Femme Fatale ~INR 500
• Skirt: Janpath, Delhi ~INR 250
• Belt: Faux Red Leather, Janpath ~INR 100
• Sandals: Nude flats with comfort soles, Unbranded. ~INR 450
• Watch: Raga ~INR 4500
• Accessories: Gold stud earrings

Since I was sightseeing in the sweltering month of April, there is very little makeup on. Makeup Breakdown:
• Face: Lakme 9to5 Crème Compact
• Eyes: Bare except for Kajal, since my glasses wud have hidden them anyway…!
• Lips: Custom color made with Lakme 9to5 Lipsticks in Brick and Satin Ruby. (both have been discontinued now)
• Cheeks: Dabbed on a bit of Lakme Powder Blush in Rose
• Hair: A regular half updo with a clutch

This look was all about comfort. But I like the Skirt pattern and color combination too much! I always add a pop of red to my outfit when I wear it! The shirt is well fitting without being too figure hugging. So, can you tell that I am 5 months pregnant in this pic??? :p

You look so lovely Anks! Loving the color combo..I love white/black with a pop of red. I would’ve never guessed you are 5 months pregnant! You custom color lipstick looks great too.

  Thanks Ankita… 🙂 that is one of my favorite combos too… 🙂 I went into this Red and Blue phase around my wedding and have tons of clothes and accessories in red!

  yep Rads! this was a company event and i met all the people all over the organisation. Very few guessed (and too was primarily because of my lack of alcohol consumption!) 🙂
  
  even i thought that i can never wear a belt… it accentuates my tummy… but then, i realise it is not so. With the right type of belt, right placement and right amount of cinching, anyone can wear a belt and look good…. i discovered this from Imogen Lamport’s blog. She is a stylist from Australia and has a great great blog. I’ll mail you her blog’s link…

  it does bee.. like i said, all about comfort! That was so throughout my pregnancy. Can you believe i wore the same sandals for all nine months??? the soft sole really helped… well, when you get preggers, you’ll get all the strength you need!!!
