A few days ago, I had reviewed the shade #608 from the Double Sparkle range of Inglot. In fact, I had picked both 608 and 609 shades together. Both look very similar with the strong brown tones and the dash of golden shimmer added in them. With the wedding season on, this could be your crease color and your “smokey brown makeup look” color for sure.

My Experience with Inglot 609 Double Sparkle Eyeshadow:
This is a very nice brown shade for warm skin tones. If you are a beginner and do not know which brown to buy, this could be it. There is a some mild golden flecks of shimmer to it. Believe me, they do fall out do not look over the top. The concentration of the shimmer is very low, so even if you use it on the crease, it will not make a difference. You could easily pair it with a brown liner or golden shimmer in the centre of lids for a party look. This could also smoke out your regular kohl on the lower lash line instead of a black.
The pigment is quite strong. There is hardly any shimmer fall out and no color fall out as well. The shadow does not feel chalky. It may not be the smoothest, but the pigment is strong so even when you layer it up, the color sticks to the lids with no fall out or thickness.
I would say you would need a primer or else on my oily lids, it would crease in three hours. Overall, a good brown shadow to own, if you do not want a pure brown matte, this dash of gold to it could help. The shade in #608 is one tone lighter than this one.
Pros of Inglot 609 Double Sparkle Eyeshadow:
- Pigmented.
- Minimal fall out.
- Good for smokey eyes or for crease as well.
- Shimmer is not over the top.
- Good beginner color for warm skin tones.
- Stays well.
- Affordable.
Cons of Inglot 609 Double Sparkle Eyeshadow:
- Golden flecks may fall out.
- Needs a base.
- Will not show up on deeper skin tone.
- Storage will need a proper palette.
- Concealer with this is a must, or else it will look like an extension of your dark circles 😛
Would I Recommend/Repurchase Inglot 609 Double Sparkle Eyeshadow?
Yes for sure. It may not be the best one out there but surely is a good one to own.
