Inglot Freedom System Blush #40 Review

Inglot Freedom System Blush #40 Review

By Fathima Luthfia

Inglot has created a big hype around the makeup world for their famous freedom system which offers great quality at a good price range. I was totally new to the idea of buying pans for blush and lipstick.  When I saw Inglot’s wide range of lipsticks and blush pans, I was literally going mad, seriously, it is so difficult to choose. Each and every colour calls your attention. The moment I swatched it on my hand, the buttery, silky smooth texture just told me that I should buy them. I bought them immediately without any second thoughts.

Product Description:

Paraben free formula. Not tested on animals.

Price:

4 g/0.14 US OZ for INR 350 for the refill pan (prices have gone up, its INR 400 now).

Packaging:

The Inglot Freedom System Blush comes in a quite thick plastic cover which has a twist-up lock to open and close mechanism.  The blush cover works well to store the blush safely. If one would like to store them as individual pans, they can conveniently use the plastic cover case itself. The packaging of the Inglot  system pans are also travel friendly.

Colour:

The Inglot blush refill in 40 is a beautiful peach brown shade with tiny golden shimmers. The color looks pretty dark brown in the pan, but on the cheeks, it translates into a pretty peach and a soft brown combination. I picked it for night wear, but with a light hand, it can also be used for the day as the shimmer is finely milled. The shade will work well on fair to dusky skin complexions.  I have quite a dusky complexion (I am NC 43.5 in MAC).  I was hunting for a peach blush, but nothing would show up well on my skin.  I was so glad when I found this peach brown shade, it works well for me. It doubles up as a blush as well as a bronzer on me.

Texture and Pigmentation:

Inglot blushes are smooth in texture, super finely milled and very pigmented. The texture and pigmentation are the best.  The finely milled texture makes it ideal for easy blending and uniform color coverage. The blush is very much pigmented, one swipe itself gives you enough colour. One has to use a little careful hand during application and it is easy to go overboard with the colour. Overall, the texture and pigmentation is a clear winner for the Inglot blushes. I know, if you had tried these blushes, you would definitely agree with me!

Shimmer peach blush

I have lightly blended and also heavily swatched to show up the colour well:

Staying Power:

The staying power is amazing for a blush. It stayed on me over 6 hours of wear, a primer underneath can extend the “wear time” more.

Pros of Inglot Freedom System Blush #40:

  • Travel-friendly packaging.
  • Would suit all complexions.
  • Pretty peach brown colour.
  • No parabens or animal testing.
  • Finely milled texture.
  • Amazing pigmentation.
  • Very low fallout.
  • Blends well like a cream.
  • Stays for about 6 hours.
  • Shimmer is not stark, but its an understated one.

Cons of Inglot Freedom System Blush #40:

  • I love everything about it – no complaints.
