Inglot Lip Paint Review, Photos and Swatches

Inglot Lip Paint Review

This my third post from my Inglot Haul. The first reviews were:

Inglot Lip Paint

What is Inglot Lip Paint?

It’s is a lipstick in a cute pot. πŸ˜› It’s a paraben free formula.

Price : Rs 720 (Indian Rupees)

The Inglot Lip Paint shade that I have is a dull rosyΒ  pink. The colour is very similar to Lakme Aquashine Lip Colour in old Rose. Infact the whole product is quite comparable to Lakme Aquashine Lip colour. Except that I never liked the staying power of Lakme Aquashine lip colour.

Lakme Aquashine vs Inglot Lip Paint

What I love about Inglot Lip Paint?

  • Inglot Lip Paint is available in 20 shades mauves, pinks, browns, lights, darks, nudes etc.
  • It is non sticky.
  • It is creamy.
  • It has a good staying powder of 4-5 hours if you don’t eat or drink too much.
  • It is a typical light fruity fragrance that all Inglot lip products have.
  • Doesn’t taste of anything obnoxious.
  • The quantity is pretty good.
  • The lip paints are very pigmented.
  • It is moisturizing and doesn’t dry my lips at all.
  • It is a very little lip plumping properties that makes my lips look a tiny but fuller. I feel a little numbness on my upper lip after applying it but nothing irritating or annoying.
  • The packaging is cute. The pots are transparent glass pots. It gets easier to locate.
  • Doesn’t have a super glossy finish, which I am not a big fan of these days.
  • Easy to carry around.
  • You can double these up as a lip gloss.

Inglot Lip Paint

What I don’t love about Inglot Lip Paint?

  • It is expensive.
  • I am not a huge fan of potted products. You have to dip in your finger to apply the lip paint. I generally use Q -tips to apply the lip paint and then I spread the product with my fingers.
  • They don’t have an awesome staying power but even after you have a full meal the lip paint doesn’t disappear from your lips completely. I find the lip paint very addictive and look for reasons to reapply it. πŸ˜›

Other than that I love every bit of these paint pots and would purchase these in more shades. πŸ™‚

    1. The only reason I would have re-purchased Lakme Aquashine was for this old rose colour. Am glad I found the same shade in Inglot. Thank you. πŸ™‚

  1. It looks lovely on you Rati and it is one of my favourite colour too.

Btw, can it be applied with a flat painting brush?? Just wondering ?:-) ?:-)

Looks like I am gonna find multiple uses for all my fresh stock of pain brushes LOL

    1. I don’t like to like lip brushes because I have to wash them up every time. πŸ˜› I think brush nunmber 2-3 would be good to use. This colour makes my complexion a bit dull but I still love it. he he. πŸ˜›

    2. Hi poornima,

had resd about ur FAB india coral glow pack is that product discontinued since the SA in blore said so….

  2. Looks good on you Rati.. btw i was jus wondering.. wouldnt using a qtip end up in some product wastage? like quite a bit will get stuck to the tip right? ?:-)

    1. This colour is so pigmented that you just have to use tiny bit of it for you lips (Well!! until and unless you don’t have a gorgeous pout like Angelina Jolie. :P) . So a little bit of it gets wasted but I really cannot dip in my fingers in the pot. It grosses me out. πŸ™

    1. Aww!! Thank you Ki. πŸ˜› I guess the glowing credit goes to Priyanka. She has given an awesome diet chart that includes regular intake of fruits and salads. My skin has actually become better. πŸ™‚

  3. Hi Rati!!!

No doubt u r beautiful with gr8 complextion so most of the shades will suit you :-* :-* .However I felt u was lookig more gorgeous with Inglot lipstick(410), which u reveiwed few days back. :kissing:

    1. Sush, this colour does make my complexion a bit dull. I think this shade would look excellent on people who have very fair complexion. I just like this shade a lot so it’s difficult to resist having one in my collection. πŸ™‚

      Thank you. :-* :-*

  4. Old rose is my fav, so ready to invest………..

thnq for the recco, sexy πŸ™‚

yes, they look similar save the consistency….

who cares abt the staying power as long as u like the color? i give a damn abt such trivial things….i am basically not a fussy girl πŸ™‚ LOL

but i have to say “SEXY” suits u apt πŸ™‚

    1. Really? It’s not the typical pink and that’s what I love about it the most. These days I use a lip tint under all my lippies so really I also care a damn about the staying power now. πŸ˜›

  5. oh forgot, but does lakme one smell like anything? revlon had a same concept gloss, but that stinks to death πŸ™ YUCK…so tell me abt the smell….

i dont think i will invest on inglot as of now, but who knows? i can change my mind anytime πŸ™‚ LOL

    1. Lakme has a typical cosmetic smell. It’s not yuck but I am not a fan of it. With makeup we have a legal permission to change our mind anytime. πŸ˜€

  6. i LOVE :inlove: :inlove: :inlove: :inlove: when you model pose with lip paints……I really like how Inglot packs all its things into cute little pots.

  7. After reading your reviews, I always wanna go get new lippies, problem is I never seem to pick the right shade πŸ™ , sigh! I like the colour on you … I was just thinking you must have quite a collections of makeup goodies..wish i cld see :silly:

    1. he he. πŸ˜› I have a smaller makeup collection as compared to a lot of people that I see around. I think selecting a lipstick is all about experimenting. You can never be sure. πŸ˜› I generally try lipsticks on my lips while buying high end products because they sanitize their products with alcohol but with our Indian brands I take my chances. Like I have an option. πŸ˜€

  8. I too liked the earlier lipstick on you better, but this has a very fresh, summery charm of its own and also looks nice on you πŸ™‚

Lip Paint – sounds so cute and sexy.. I wonder if they have any nice berry shades πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you Tanveer. I think this shade would look excellent on your complexion. I am just a sucker for this shade so i keep atleast one of this in my collection. πŸ™‚ They have 20 shades so i guess you would be able to find one for yourself. πŸ™‚ Thank you. πŸ™‚

  9. It looks soooooooo good on you! I was contemplating on if I should get one and after looking at how great it looks on you, it is definitely on my list! Although it’ll be some time before I can lay my hands on it though!

  10. LOL! I started using the lakme aquashine pen to apply my pot-lippies (since i HATE lip brushes) and then i saw the pic above, with the pen and a pot…and i said “un-eureka!”
