Inglot Lipstick #125 Review

I had a horrible day yesterday, had a long and hectic day at work – very, very long. The only thing keeping me going were frequent checks on the IMBB site. When I reached home, I found my kiddo playing, so fed him some milk and had just started singing a lullaby and he puked all the milk. I don’t know why, no fever, no cough, no eating out, no signs of any flu or anything, just puked. Oh my God, I wanted the day to end and I was busy consoling my child, giving him a bath, changing the bed sheets, washing them, dried out the mattress with my hair dryer and what not – real nasty day, yesterday. But today, yay, it’s my hubby’s birthday, so will be celebrating it with all our well-wishers in the evening, but kiddo is still not too well, maybe I will stay back with him. Anyway, enough of my troubles. Today, I am reviewing the second Inglot lipstick, which I bought last December. I was trying to get some other things, but since they were all out of stock, I bought two lipsticks – #124 and #125. Today, I am reviewing Inglot Lipstick #125 for you all.

My Experience with Inglot Lipstick #125:
As with number #124 lipstick, Inglot lipstick #125 is also a very creamy and pigmented lipstick. I had liked these two testers at the store and asked for them. The SA gave me #124 and #125. I was really confused. How can two such close numbers have such widely different shades? But anyway, I bought these two lipsticks.
These lipsticks come in a box packaging, inside which a very sleek and sophisticated looking black case of lipstick is present. The cap slides easily over the bullet, but does not shut with a click. I carry it easily in my bag, and it has never made a mess.
I picked up this shade #125 along with #124 which I have already reviewed. This is also a very creamy lipstick in deep pinkish red color. It is quite bold and is richly pigmented – one swipe on the lips and you are done. It is very opaque, and will easily cover any pigmented lips.
This lipstick gives enough coverage in just one swipe. You cannot reduce the pigmentation as with #124. Even with a lip balm underneath, it still leaves a very rich shade. For that reason only, this shade is most suitable for evening outs only. You can really enhance this color with more swipes or a lip gloss on top, achieves a pin up girl look and looks very very sexy and sophisticated.
Being creamy, it does not sit on the lip lines much. The best way to apply it as you apply any red lipstick – first a lip liner, then lipstick, then blot, then again lipstick, and then lip gloss. It leaves glossiness over the lips when first applied, but the glossy part goes off in 10-15 minutes, leaving a lovely sheen. However, the sheen may appear a bit frosty. It is transferable on glasses. Its staining power is less than #124. Also, it sits on lips without food for 7-8 hours easily (haven’t really tested more than that).
This lipstick makes the lips feel very comfortable. It does not have any shimmer at all, but after some time, I have noticed my lips tend to get dry; which can be remedied if you apply a lip balm first. It is very soft and creamy, but does not melt on my lips or inside the tube. It does not bleed or feather at all. The color fades very evenly. With heavy meals, most of the lipstick is gone, and leaves only a pale stain of color. The stain remains on the lips for a long time, till you actually remove it with a remover.

- Lasts 7-8 hours on my lips without food.
- Makes teeth look very white.
- Fades evenly.
- Leaves a pretty, but pale stain after fading.
- Not expensive.
Cons of Inglot Lipstick #125:
- Dries out the lips (can be remedied with a lip balm).
- Transferable.
- Availability in India is an issue.
- These lipsticks have only numbers, no names.
- May appear a teeny bit frosty on some people.

Would I Repurchase Inglot Lipstick #125?
Yes, but some other shade. I still have the list of unavailable products with me, so will check them out next time I visit the store. It will suit most of the warm skin tone people. It is a very pretty pinkish red shade, which will make your teeth look very white. It is a perfect shade for an evening out and will make you look very s*xy and sophisticated indeed.

Don’t worry Arpita,ur kiddo will be fine, but I knw how moody n gloomy everything can be wen ur kid is not well, I craved for sm noise wen my younger one got sick, usually cheerful and bubbly girl ws so silent n sleeping all the time, I felt so helpless, everything will be fine.
