It is hard to believe that we have already done 4 Sunday bazaars.Feels like a dream. 🙂 Sanjeev came up with an idea of organizing blog sales for everyone, I agreed, we did it, and bang! 4 weeks already gone. 🙂
So here is another warm invitation for the Sellers of 26th June Sunday bazaar. You may check the important posts on Sunday bazaar HERE and HERE
I would just like to share a few tips withe sellers regarding images .
1. While clicking the lipstick photos, twist your lipstick completely up. This would ensure that you are not selling broken lipsticks and well as give an idea of how much product would the buyer get.
You see the arrows in the below photograph? Twist up your lipstick till you see the plastic bottom that holds the actual product.
2. If you are selling your products with the covers, you may click the cover along side of the actual product.
3. If you are selling an eye pencil or a lip pencil that is sharp-enable, do give an idea of the size by placing it next to some comparable product.
4. Be honest with what you are selling. If any of your product is used, just show it. If anyone wants it, she’d pick it up. But don’t send misleading photographs just to sell your products.

5. Take responsibility for your couriers. Although everyone can understand that the products might get damaged during the courier process but you do your best in terms of packaging. if possible wrap your products in bubble wraps, news papers etc so that the products are protected.
6. Be honest : It is the most important part of the sale. If you are showing a full lipstick during the sale, don’t send a half sliced one. If you are showing your powder filled up till brim, don’t send a half empty jar. keep your buyers happy so that they are willing to repurchase from you every time you hold a sale. 🙂
7. If possible, write the “original price”, “sale price” and how many times a product has been used on the images itself before you send them across to us. Keep the images big – around 600*400 / 640*430 pixels.
For Buyers
- If you are buying product from someone, just stick by your word. Mentioning it in comments that you would be purchasing the stuff and not ultimately buying it would only ban you from the upcoming Sunday Bazaar sales.
- Get in touch with your buyers with24 hours of your purchase. Let them know when you would be making the payment, how long bank takes etc..
- If you buy something on impulse but realize that you dont want it, just mention it there and then in the comments. Someone else might buy it. 🙂

Nupur, unfortunately, in any retail business, experience with buyers would be both good and bad. Buyers would always be indecisive and demanding. This happens in real life shops also. Although here on IMBB we have already banned 2- 3 buyers from buying in Sunday Bazaar, most of the time you’d have to take it as a part and parcel of selling things. Remember that you’d find more good people than the bad ones. And we’d try to weed out the bad ones to protect our sellers also. 🙂
yes yes , sanjeev m wid u on that…. buyers (n too female buyers :P) can be very demanding.. but most of the ladies i have dealt wid here ,are exceptionally courteous 🙂
