Tips and Tricks: Use a light shade over the entire area from the lash line to the brow line to create the base. Apply a medium shade on the lower lid and blend it into your base shade. Use a dark color along the lash line and outer corner of the eyes as an accent to create the depth in eyes.

My Experience with Jordana 19 Splurge Color Effects Eye-Shadow Powder:
Starting from the packaging of the eye shadow. The eye shadow comes packed in a tiny plastic tub. The small silver coloured tub with a see through cap, that enables to see the shade from outside, only if you own a few of these mono eye shadows. Though the packaging is practically fine but the quality and finish is really low. The eye shadow tub has sticker at its base indicating the shade name and other details. Overall, the packaging is okayish and it looks a little cheap. It is not at all sturdy, I dropped one of these tubs and it has broken into pieces.
The shade “Splurge” is a definitely gorgeous. I do not own many greens in my vanity and this one is a unique green eye shadow. It is yellow green eye shadow that has shimmers in it. The golden colored shimmers gives it a nice shimmery finish. The shimmers are fine, non-chunky and subtle. I love to use this shade with combinations. I had used a brown eye shadow along with this shade in the eye swatch attached below.
Pigmentation wise, I am really not much impressed. It requires at least 4-5 swipes to make the color pop. The texture of the eye shadow is smooth but slightly powdery in nature. It glides effortlessly on the eye without any dragging of the delicate eye area. It actually blends very beautifully within seconds. I love how it sets. It looks velvety and nice on the eyes. The eye shadow and its shimmers stay at place without any budging. It does not crease at all. The powdery texture made it fall out so much.
The lasting power is somewhere around 4-5 hours and that too with an eye primer underneath. The color loses its intensity in the meantime and the overall eye look gets a little dull with time. Without using a primer these shadows hardly last for 2-3 hours only. Overall, it works fine according to the price tag.
