Product Purchased by IMBB
Last week, I broke the only pressed powder I had – it fell on the floor and the entire product crumbled into pieces, hence it was time for me to get a new one! I picked up this finishing powder as a part of IMBB sponsored product scheme. I don’t like hoarding a lot of pressed powders because let’s face it, even if we have a bunch of them, we would invariably reach for the one we like the most, hence no point hoarding things we would never use. Read on further to know about this product, that I bought, thanks to IMBB 🙂
Kurve Flawless Finishing Powder by Kardashian Beauty has soft light diffusion and buildable coverage. The silky, cream finish is always natural and never cakey or chalky.
My Take on Kardashian Beauty Kurve Flawless Finishing Powder:
Ulta recently added a new shelf dedicated to Kardashian Beauty brand and I ignored it during my recent trip there till my friend pointed out that this shelf is mostly sold out and apparently all the products are “fast moving” kind. I decided to try out the finishing powder from this brand and bought the one closest to my skin tone.
Packaging: This product comes in a plastic pan with silver finish which gives it a very sophisticated and expensive look. On the other hand, this packaging is a little bulky and unnecessarily big. The product comes in a thin pan that lies between the bottom pan (which holds the sponge) and the lid (which is see through). Overall, I like the packaging.
Texture: It is very soft and smooth to touch. It might look as if the sponge would pick up a lot of product in one swipe, but once applied, it blends effortlessly and gives a satin smooth finish. It is good at setting liquid foundation and helps in preventing creasing. It gives a matte, satin finish, and improves the wear time of foundation.
Color: It is in beige color and it’s a shade that would suit most of the Indian skin tones. It is not translucent but sheer enough to not show up obviously, but still sets makeup in place.
Coverage: It gives good coverage as a setting powder and gives a good final touch to a full coverage foundation; however, I never use face powders straight away on bare face like some people do, so I can’t really comment in that regard, but otherwise, it is good at maintaining matte look and hiding open pores.
Staying Power: It keeps makeup intact for 5 to 6 hours after which one might want to reapply a little product at the T-zone or any other sweaty region on their face, but otherwise, it stays fresh for a long time and also prevents concealer from creasing and prevents kajal from smudging.
This range has 8 shades to choose from and almost all skin types can find a shade that would complement their skin tone. This product looks sophisticated and performs really well.
