My Experience with Kaya Deep Nourish Elbow and Foot Cream:
This foot cream comes in a white coloured oval-shaped jar, which looks very plain and simple. Usually, Kaya products come packaged in a simple manner. There is a white lid that covers this jar and bears the brand name on the top of the lid. When I opened the jar, there was no seal or any covering to prevent the product from getting deposited on the lid surface.
If you want to take out the cream, you have to use your fingers, which is quite unhygienic I think. A tube kind of packaging would have been better. All the product details related to the description, directions of use and ingredients are written on the body of the jar. The jar is medium in size, so it can be carried easily while you are travelling. Overall, the packaging is sturdy and compact.
The foot cream is white in colour and has a thick creamy consistency that glides easily on the feet and elbows. You just need a little quantity to cover your elbows. For the feet, you would need a little more to cover them properly. The texture of this cream is really good. It is enriched with shea butter and coconut oil which helps to provide the right amount of nourishment to the dry skin.
This jar would last really long because you won’t end up using a lot of product. A little goes a long way. So, at this price tag, this deeply nourishing cream is a good value for money. This cream is just apt for use in severe winters. It is great as a multi-purpose cream as you can use it on your feet and elbows. Moreover, it is suitable for all skin types. The odour of this cream is not very strong, it is very mild and would not feel overpowering to the senses. I still can’t figure out what type of smell the cream characterises. After application of this foot cream, the odour would not stay for long. It will fade away gradually.
Now, let me share with you how I use this product. After a tiring day, my dry feet and elbows need some relaxation. Before I go to sleep, I wash my feet with a foot scrub and lukewarm water to cleanse it thoroughly. Following this, I apply this cream all over my feet and elbows and massage it until it gets absorbed. You really need to work well on the massaging part because the thick texture needs time for full absorption.
In the beginning, you would feel that this cream feels a little bit oily. Gradually, this oily feeling goes away and you can easily walk around in the room wearing this cream. You can use this cream once or twice as per the intensity of dryness. After using this cream, it gives me a very soothing feel and relaxes my dry feet and elbows instantly.
So when I wake up next morning, I can actually feel the difference. My foot feels so soft, supple and smooth. I had less visible cracks on my feet. The roughness on my elbows reduced considerably. Earlier, my elbows appeared quite flaky, but with this cream, this problem is sorted too.
Now, it has been more than three weeks and I use this nourishing cream religiously every night. It slowly repairs my dry feet with regular use. The cracks and fine lines are also healing at a slow pace. My elbows and feet look so hydrated and healthy. There is a nice glow in them. I absolutely love touching my feet. This cream just provides the right amount of moisture which is neither extra nor less. It effectively locks in moisture and makes my feet and elbows look more youthful.
Overall, I am impressed with the quality of this product. This is a deep penetrating cream which significantly improves the look and feel of even the driest feet and elbows.
