I have already reviewed Lavender and Lime variant from latest launches of Khadi lip balms. Today, I am reviewing Khadi Spermint Lip Balm. Keep reading to know more.

My Experience with Khadi Spermint Lip Balm:
The lip balm comes in a small transparent tub with a clear screw-on lid. The tub comes with a safety cover that prevents the product from spilling as this lip balm has a tendency to melt. The tiny tub has a label wrapped on it, which bears all necessary product details. As, it is a tub packaging; there are high chances of contamination of the product. So, using the product with clean hands is mandatory. Overall, the packaging is very basic and there is nothing fancy in it. But, this small tub fits easily in small pouches and hence it is fit for travelling. This variant has a spelling error on it label. It is written “Spermint” in place of “Spearmint”.
The lip balm is almost clear. It does not contain any tint. So, it does not hide pigmentation of the lips. It just gives a shiny finish to the lips. The lip balm has a strong minty fragrance. But, it is not very overpowering. The lip balm does not have any taste and is of petroleum jelly-like consistency. It has a tendency to melt in hot climates. The lip balm sticks to its safety cover and makes the whole tub messy and kind of oily. So, I have to clean the tub properly. The lip balm is light-weight and feels comfortable on the lips. It is absolutely non-sticky. It does not give that waxy feel to the lips. The lip balm spreads very easily on the lips. It does not come with any SPF. So, I avoid it wearing it on sunny days.
The lip balm is very good in moisturizing the lips. It keeps my lips healthy and nourished. My lips stay hydrated for long. The lip balm stays on my lips overnight. My lips feel so soft and smooth in the morning. The lip balm lasts for hardly 2 hours and needs frequent reapplication. The lip balm does not survive any meal at all. Frequent reapplications are needed due to its low staying power. But, that is not an issue with me, as I do not mind reapplying it.
Pros of Khadi Spermint Lip Balm:

• Nourishes the lips.
• Makes lip soft and smooth.
Cons of Khadi Spermint Lip Balm:
• Poor consistency.
• The tub gets messy due its petroleum jelly like consistency.
• No SPF.
• Low staying power.
• Will not hide pigmented lips.
• Tub packaging is unhygienic.
