Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate Review

If you follow makeup gurus and vloggers, you must have noticed that serums have become a staple in everyone’s skin care regimen. Serums are extremely lightweight and easily blendable and give enough amount of hydration to the skin.  The serum improves skin’s texture in the long run and also makes the skin much more even toned and hydrating. I have oily skin, so wasn’t confident that adding an oil was going to do my skin any good. Here’s the detailed review on Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate.

My Experience with Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate:

The product arrives in a cute glass bottle, with a white dropper, it’s very convenient to use! The outer box has all the details mentioned, and matches the yellow color of the glass. The serum is transparent like oil. Overall, it’s a magic in a little bottle.

First of all, the glass bottle is very delicate and lightweight, I always have this fear that I will drop and crack up this little glass and squander my money. Ace! After a month’s usage, it is resting safely in my vanity. It has a super delicious citrus scent, with ginger scent as base notes. I put around four drops on my face with every use and even after a month’s usage more than half of it is still left.

I use this product mainly in the winter for my morning skincare routine and then use my BB cream over it. I saw on YouTube the oil + foundation formula and how it makes your skin look dewy and you don’t need to use so much foundation. So I tried it, mixing 2-3 drops of this and my foundation and I was stunned. I use equal amount of this serum and foundation then set my face with powder.

So in a way, it’s a great alternative to your strobe cream or illuminator. It makes my skin glowing, healthy and refreshed. I feel this serum is perfect for all skin types – it neither makes my skin oily nor dry. It works deeply and restores the moisture in the skin.

Pros of Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate:

  • Adorable packaging.
  • Brightens up the skin.
  • Suitable for all skin types.
  • Provides glow when mixed with foundation.
  • Keeps skin hydrated all day long.
  • Has long-term benefits.

Cons of Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate:

  • Expensive.
  • Glass bottle, liable to break easily.
