By now everyone knows my love for “matte lips.” This was such a gorgeous purchase from the Kryolan store in Mumbai. I own another shade called “Gospel” too. Today’s post will be on a n*de pink shade called “Dance.”

My Experience with Kryolan Dance Lip Stain:
Where do I start? You must have used so many lip creams and matte products. We all love lip products that go on creamy and dry matte – and this is one such product. “Dance” is a milky n*de pink, which is probably not so great for warm skin tones. This shade is great to pair along with a soft blue smokey eye makeup. Only neutral to cool skin tones can wear it. Otherwise, it looks very pale and milky.
This lip stain goes on smooth, and takes more than a minute to dry. It might feel slightly sticky like all lip creams, but settles nicely. I feel one coat does not do justice; hence I go with another swipe.
Despite that, the product does not feel heavy. I don’t find it drying at all for my normal lips, but it will show lip cracks. Dry lips can dare to wear this IMO, do try this at the store though.
Now, coming to the amazing staying power, it stays for a whopping 6-7 hours even with meals and coffee. Truly amazing! Of course, it has its issues, with flaking, or the inner lips would lack color, but overall a lot of color is left on the lips until you remove it with an oil-based remover. Once set, it does not smudge much.
Pros of Kryolan Dance Lip Stain:

- Totally matte and transfer-proof once set.
- N*de shade for daily wear.
- Survives meals.
- Never feels cakey.
Cons of Kryolan Dance Lip Stain:
- Dull shade for warm skin tones.
- May flake through the wear time.
- Expensive.
- May show lip lines due to the matte texture.
Would I Recommend Kryolan Dance Lip Stain?
For sure, I want to get the “Rock” shade as well, please do try this if you love matte lip creams.
