Hi lovely ladies!!!
Kryolan Blushes have become my favourite blushes of all time. Probably I can say that I have become a fan of these blushes. I am only reaching out to these blushes everytime I think of wearing a blush. I’m so glad I got a couple of shades from Kryolan and now I’m greedy to get a few more shades. So, today I will be reviewing Kryolan Dry Rouge Blusher in the shade T1 (I don’t understand why have they numbered a few blushes and named a few. Wish all of them would have nice names to them).
Rs.350 for 2.5g
Blusher is a creamy pressed powder for dry application. The exceptional formulation enhances a gentle application and produces a pleasantly soft feeling on the skin. The micronized pigments offer the possibility of applying this preparation not only with fashionable transparency, but also with vivid color emphasis.
My Experience with Kryolan Dry Rouge Blusher:
Kryolan blush comes in an outer gray cardboard box holding all the details pertaining to the product. On opening the outer box, the inner blush pan is revealed, which comes in a gray pan and a transparent lid to it that closes securely with a click mechanism. The lid holds the Kryolan mask symbol and the authenticity halogram on it. The transparent lid enables easy location of the blush in your makeup stash, in case you have more than one blush from the range. It doesn’t have a mirror or an applicator, so not useful for touch-ups on the go. The shade number and expiry date is mentioned on the bottom of the pan. The packaging is sturdy, but isn’t attractive.
T1 is a gorgeous peachy orange shade with absolutely no shimmer or sheen. It is a matte shade that perks up the complexion giving a very lovely soft flush of color to the cheeks. This has certainly become one of my favourite blush shade, as it will complement each and every look beautifully without screaming for attention. This color will give a healthy look to the cheeks and will suit light and medium complexioned beauties well.
The texture of this blush is really soft and smooth. It is buttery smooth, that the application feels utmost easy and you need not put any extra efforts in blending the blush. The color doesn’t settle down in the dry areas of the skin or highlight pores. There is minimum fall out on swirling the brush on the blush. Though it’s a powder blush, it doesn’t feel like one as the powder is finely milled and gives a creamy- satiny finish to the blush.
Pigmentation of this blush is really good. One swipe is all you need to get a lovely flush of color on the cheeks. You can layer on the blush to build up the intensity, but be careful not to pick up a lot of product as you might land up looking like a clown. The color when layered doesn’t get streaky.
This blush lasts for a good 5-6 hours on the cheeks with gradual and even fading. It doesn’t get patchy through the course of the day and doesn’t settle into the dry areas of the skin either. So, if you intend on wearing this through the entire day, you would need a touch up.
